Ohtani since high school. And in the past, they have had success with Japanese players, including Hiroki Kuroda and Kenta Maeda. We assume that cities with a large Japanese population might have an advantage in signing Ohtani, although we don’t know if that’s an important factor.

New York Yankees -- The lure of the pinstripes might be unavoidable. The Joonas Donskoi Womens Jersey bonus pool money at least helps a little bit, as does the fact that the Yankees’ leading DH candidate right now would be Jacoby Ellsbury. In other words, they’re one AL team that could entice him with some DH at-bats.

Texas Rangers -- The Rangers need pitching help, with the second-lowest projected pitching WAR for 2017, according to FanGraphs. How about a package deal in bringing back Yu Darvish and then signing Ohtani?
Seattle Mariners -- They need a starting pitcher and have a long history of signing Japanese players, http://www.authenticfootballonlinestore.com/green-bay-packers-c-1574_1613.html from Ichiro Suzuki to Hisashi Iwakuma. Nelson Cruz is locked in at DH for http://www.vikingsonlineofficialonline.com/Fran-Tarkenton-Jersey another year, but Ohtani could get some DH time starting in 2019.
Minnesota Twins -- They have one of the larger bonus pools available, and general manager Thad Levine was in Texas when Darvish was there. Taylor Moton Jersey They also need starting pitching to go with that offense. Similar to the Rangers, a Darvish-Ohtani package deal could come together.
Chicago Cubs -- With Jake Arrieta and John Lackey free agents, they’ll be signing somebody. Theo Epstein did a great job wooing Jon Lester before the 2015 season. Now that the Cubs are annual playoff participants, wooing Ohtani might be easier.
San Francisco Giants -- While they’re focusing on rebuilding their offense, they won’t turn away from Ohtani. Heck, this is one team that could actually use him in the outfield.
Where does Ohtani end up? Let's just say there's confidence in New York, with the New York Daily News saying Ohtani “to the Yankees seems like an inevitable conclusion after latest developments.”
But the time to take a quarterback first overall arrives in April. There are many reasons that the Browns need to think quarterback, but the main one is that they are beyond overdue at the position. There are expected to be three top-tier quarterbacks in this year’s draft, http://www.tennesseetitansauthorizedstore.com/derrick-morgan-jersey-elite so the choice will be a matter of http://www.nflbrownsofficial.com/WOMENS_YOUTH_MYLES_GARRETT_JERSEY.html evaluations.
But if the Browns don’t walk away from this draft with Josh Rosen of UCLA, Sam Darnold of USC or Josh Allen of Wyoming, then they should accept relegation to some semi-pro league and turn the team facility into a call-in center.
nd if the Browns trade out of the first pick Jason Kasdorf Womens Jersey and wind up with Baker Mayfield, then it will be time to disband the franchise. The team does not need a repeat of Johnny Manziel-style football or behavior. The Browns need a quarterback from the top pick. Until the Browns get a quarterback, they forever will be spinning their wheels.
Mel Kiper’s top 50 has Rosen as the best quarterback and the second-best player available. Darnold, who could stay in school one more year, is fifth overall, and Allen is sixth. Todd McShay has Darnold first, Allen third and Rosen fourth. The difference in evaluation is negligible. Any of them Johnny Gaudreau Womens Jersey should work.

different from the other Japanese stars to come over to the majors. Any team can afford the $20 million posting fee plus the small bonus, so the bidding won’t be limited to just the big-market teams. Under the international signing rules, if Ohtani had waited two more years until he turned 25, he wouldn’t be subject to the bonus pool caps, and given his 100 mph fastball and ability at the plate, he would receive a deal in excess of $100 million and likely close to $200 million.

So that tells Julius Nattinen Youth jersey us one thing: Ohtani isn’t motivated by money. The difference between a $3.5 million bonus and $300,000 bonus isn’t likely to be a critical factor in where he signs. He has repeatedly stressed the desire to test himself against the best competition, and that’s why he wants to come over now rather than wait. What we don’t know is how important is his desire to remain a two-way player.
The logical follow-up question: What would prevent a team from an under-the-table agreement with Ohtani? Say, you give him the maximum signing bonus, and then two months into his rookie season, sign him to a seven-year,
$125 million extension or something? The answer: I don’t know, although http://www.officialwinnipegjetsstore.com/authentic-16-laurie-boschman-jersey.html that is something MLB would clearly frown upon. Given the penalties just handed down on the Braves for their shenanigans in Latin America, any subterfuge with Ohtani could face severe consequences. Any extension would probably have to fall in line with those signed by similar players with limited major league experience -- in other words, far below $200 million.
The other question: Exactly how good is Ohtani? Dan Szymborski ran Ohtani’s major league equivalencies last week. And here are the numbers for 2016 (he missed part of 2017 with ankle and thigh injuries and made just five starts while DHing in 65 games):
While U.S. scouts rate him much higher as a pitcher, the two-way ability is obviously there (although his 2017 numbers at the plate weren’t as strong, translating to a .265/.317/.460 line). Some teams, no doubt, will view him strictly as a pitcher with some pinch-hitting on the side,
believing the game is simply too tough for a player to go regularly both ways. It’s unlikely any team would actually let him play the field between starts; in Japan, he last played in the field in 2014, when he appeared in six games in right field.
There has been a debate then, about which league is the better fit for Ohtani. In the American League, he could DH a couple of times a week between starts; of course, that limits him to teams that don’t already have a full-time DH. There’s also the question, however, of whether you let him bat when he starts on the mound. If the pitcher bats, you http://www.footballseahawksprostore.com/Jarran-Reed-Jersey lose your DH for the entire game. Maybe that’s not a big issue for the two or three at-bats Ohtani gets, but it complicates matters when he’s pulled for a reliever.
That might mean he’s a better fit for a National League team, where he can essentially pinch Dennis Byrd Authentic Jersey hit for the pitcher every game he doesn’t start. Think of the value Madison Bumgarner has provided the Giants. Over the past four years, he has hit .224/.272/.433 with 15 home runs in 263 at-bats. He has been worth 3.7 WAR at the plate, or about 1.0 WAR per season (on top of his value provided as a pitcher). The projections suggest Ohtani could provide even more value as a hitter than Bumgarner. As a designated hitter, Ohtani is less valuable, since the bar for a DH is much higher than for pitchers.
Of course, determining his value is up to the clubs. Ohtani just wants to play baseball. The next few weeks will see a spike in Ohtani fever. All 30 clubs will undoubtedly Womens T.J. Oshie Jersey reach out to his agents, CAA http://authenticpenguinsjersey.com/marcandre-fleury-jersey_c-422.html Sports. Ohtani will be wined and dined. Where does he end up? Some speculation:

its most impressive win over previously ranked Michigan. The Badgers' profile still includes only one win over a currently ranked team (No. 22 Northwestern), but beating Ohio State should be enough to punch their playoff ticket.

The committee kept 11 teams in the same spots after Cupcake Week, and UCF might have been the most disappointed, as the Knights linger at No. 15 despite a 10-0 record. Although Scott Frost's team will earn a New Year's Six berth if it Markus Golden Jersey wins out, it might not ever approach the committee's top 10, even if it beats 9-1 South Florida, which is not ranked by the committee, on Saturday.
The penultimate rankings next Tuesday will be much more revealing, especially if Alabama falls on the Plains. But the top five -- and really top seven -- look at rigid as ever, which isn't good news for those on the outside.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Jim Harbaugh cut himself shaving about a month ago, and there's a pretty good chance you didn't hear about it. This is a positive step toward regaining the sanity that was temporarily suspended around Michigan's celebrity head coach during his first few years on campus.
Harbaugh's nasal nick ("Protruding nose," was how he explained the incident after asking reporters if his shaving mishap was causing him to bleed during a news conference) was a good test for the oft-floated theory from those on both sides of the maize-and-blue divide that "If this guy so much as sneezes it'll make national headlines."
If the possibility of something so minor actually creating a media stir seems snort-worthy to you, please remember that this is a man who just last year inspired Zapruder-style YouTube videos and actual news reports questioning whether or not he picked his nose on the Wolverines' sideline. That public discourse reached such a level of absurdity that both Harbaugh and his famous brother, John, who coaches the Baltimore Ravens, felt compelled to publicly address his booger disposal habits.
The shaving story spawned a few chuckles and a couple P.J. Hairston Jersey of tweets and then the conversation quickly returned to football. Harbaugh-mania, it appears, has subsided to a healthier place.
There is more http://www.authenticcanadienshop.com/authentic-18-serge-savard-jersey.html than anecdotal evidence that Harbaugh demand has dropped. Google Trends tracks the frequency that its engine is asked Jean Beliveau Youth jersey to search for particular terms over time and charts them on a scale of 0 to 100. A 100 is the busiest time for that topic and a score of 1, for example, would mean that search requests at that time were 1 percent of the peak.
The peak for "Jim Harbaugh" searches -- his 100 mark -- in the past three years http://www.calgaryflamesofficialonline.com/Adidas-Mark-Giordano-Jersey came in January 2015, the week after Michigan introduced him as its new head coach. His first round of satellite camps that June registered as a 50 and the controversial loss to Ohio State in November 2016 garnered an 84. In 2017, the search rating hasn't reached higher than a 30, and rarely has it climbed into double digits.
"I wasn't doing anything to get on the radar then, and I'm not doing anything now to stay off the radar," Harbaugh said this week. "Just coaching the football team. That's always been my goal."
So why then has America's interest in minutiae like Harbaugh's shaving habits waned? Occam's razor would suggest that it's a result of middling results on the field. The coach http://www.officialwarriorsshop.com/authentic-13-wilt-chamberlain-jersey.html of an 8-3 team that will finish his third year without a championship and a scant supply of rivalry victories isn't incredibly interesting no matter how he carries himself. Some of you have almost certainly already yelled some version of this at your computer or phone screen.

    • lucky has written a new blog article "Time is running out for the two-loss College Football" Today

Playoff contenders not named Auburn to make their moves. The latest committee rankings suggest it might already be too late. It's not simply that undefeated teams Alabama and Miami now lead the rankings, as the Hurricanes leapfrogged their future ACC championship game opponent, Clemson, for the No.

2 spot. The committee also showed that it views both Alabama's and Miami's profiles in a very favorable light. Mississippi State, which gave Alabama all it could handle two weeks ago in Starkville, vaulted two spots to No. 14, ahead of undefeated UCF. Virginia Tech, which Miami beat by 18 on Nov. 5, re-entered the rankings despite needing a goal-line stand to beat 4-6 Pitt at home.
Alabama seems increasingly likely to remain in or just outside the top four even with a road loss to No. 6 Auburn in the Iron Bowl. A win against Auburn and a loss to No. 7 Georgia in the SEC title game would virtually assure the Tide of a top-four spot. Selection committee chairman Kirby Hocutt repeatedly said Tuesday that not much is separating the top five teams, but it would be hard to see the Tide tumbling if they fall short against a team -- Auburn or Georgia -- that the committee holds in high regard.
The more interesting scenario could be if Miami pushes Clemson to the brink before dropping its first game of the season. The Canes would have an undeniably impressive win http://www.warriorsprostore.com/WOMENS-STEPHEN-CURRY-JERSEY.html over No. 8 Notre Dame, as well as the Virginia Tech win that resonates with the committee even if the Hokies' overall profile seems weak. Although Miami has been less than dominant against a group of decent to below-average ACC teams -- Georgia Tech, Florida State, North Carolina, Syracuse, Virginia -- the committee thinks the Hurricanes are an improving, championship-caliber team.
It isn't good news for potential two-loss conference champions such as No. 9 Ohio State, No. 11 USC and No. 12 TCU. Those three teams didn't budge in the latest rankings. All three should root for Alabama to win out, as none seems likely to jump a one-loss Tide team. All three also might want Miami to win out, eliminating Clemson and ensuring that the SEC and ACC are http://www.officialroyalsshop.com/authentic-41-danny-duffy-jersey.html one-bid leagues. If Clemson loses to newly ranked South Carolina but beats Miami, the Tigers could get a nod over the Buckeyes, Trojans or Horned Frogs.
Ohio State and TCU both have opportunities for top-five wins in their respective league title games. The Buckeyes can take out undefeated Wisconsin, but they might not have a spot if one-loss Alabama or one-loss Miami is lingering around the top four.
TCU's prospects are even dimmer. Other than perhaps UCF, no team should have a bigger beef with the committee than the Frogs, who beat Texas Tech on the road by 24 despite not having quarterback Kenny Hill or several other key starters. Hocutt is Texas Tech's athletic director, but Eric Kendricks Womens Jersey TCU's win Reuben Foster Jersey didn't sway the committee to move the Frogs, who beat Oklahoma State on the road, any higher than No. 12.
USC would really need a chaos scenario, including No. 8 Notre Dame losing this week at No. 21 Stanford, to have any chance at the top four. Washington State also can win the Pac-12 with two losses, and the Cougars would have five wins over teams currently ranked by the committee (USC twice, No. 17 Washington, No. 19 Stanford and No. 23 Boise State). But Mike Leach's team likely would have too much traffic in its way.
The Big 12 once again should feel a bit nervous about these rankings. Oklahoma has wins over Nos. 9, 12 and 19, two of them on the road, yet sits behind three teams that each have only one win against the current top 20. Would a conference title that includes another top-12 win over TCU be enough to punch Oklahoma's playoff ticket? Jay Cutler Jersey It absolutely should. But the committee might debate one-loss OU vs. one-loss Miami.

    • lucky has written a new blog article "How do you feel about the NHL skipping the Olympics in 2018" Yesterday

You'd be hard pressed to find a current NHL player who is OK with Atlanta Falcons Jersey missing the 2018 Winter Olympics. "I wouldn't be on the team," Vancouver Canucks defenseman Chris Tanev told ESPN.com in September. "But I'm sure a lot of guys would like to be there."

While a couple dozen players would get to represent their respective countries if the NHL wasn't skipping its first Winter Games since 1998, the rest of the league -- players such as Tanev -- would get a three-week break baked into the middle of a taxing NHL season.

We know how the league feels about its decision to skip out on Pyeongchang in 2018. "None at all," Gary Bettman said at a sports business panel in Toronto on Nov. 13 when asked if he had any regrets about not breaking for the Games.
But what do other folks around hockey have to say? ESPN polled a wide array of people, from an NHL owner to a GM to a handful of retired players, including some who have competed in the Olympics. Here's what http://www.authentickansascityroyals.com/Kelvin-Herrera-Jersey they had to say about the NHL's gamesmanship surrounding the Games.
Rocky Wirtz, owner of the Chicago Blackhawks: I think [participating in the Olympics] is only good if the players and the league can share some of the revenue. The Olympics wouldn't let [the NHL] use its logos. So, regardless if it was during the middle of the season ... if there was some way they could share, and let the players do something -- and that's why they had the World Cup -- I think that's the way to go. And then, quite frankly, you're scared to death about injuries. If you have a team that has a number of players going, like the Blackhawks did in 2010, you could lose everything with just one injury.
Teemu Selanne, six-time Olympian with Team Finland: I really believe that NHL players should be there. Obviously, that's one reason why I [waited a year to come to the NHL]; I wanted to play in the 1992 Olympics, and at the time, NHL players weren't able to play.
I really wanted the experience. Now, for some players, this is their first and only chance to get in the Olympics -- and now they can't go. I feel sorry for them. I had the privilege of playing in six Olympics, and that's why I know how much it Authentic Martin Jones Jersey means and how great the experience is. I wish everyone would have the same chance to do it.
Steve Yzerman, Tampa Bay GM and former executive director of Team Canada: Obviously I wish we were there. I understand the issues we weren't able to overcome to make an agreement to be there. I'm hopeful we can work on them in Reggie Miller Jersey the future. For the game, Womens Trey Burton Jersey for our league, it's a good thing long term. But there are some issues that need to be resolved.
Scott Stevens, retired NHL player and 1998 http://www.nflraidersofficialonline.com/RAIDERS-TIM-BROWN-JERSEY Canadian Olympian: I kind of liked it when it was amateurs [playing in the Olympics]. I know that's kind of weird, but I kind of liked when it was juniors and amateurs. It was fun to watch, and it was great for those guys. Some of those guys never get a chance to play in the NHL, and that's their Stanley Cup. I don't mind it going http://www.footballpanthershop.com/Vernon_Butler_Jersey_Cheap back that way,
I'd like to see it go to the old days. Keep the NHL the NHL and playing for the Stanley Cups. I think it's too long of a wait, too long of a break. I think it's not great for the owners, not great for the other players.
Paul Kariya, retired NHL player, who played in the Olympics as an amateur and a pro: I think it's really beneficial, not just to the NHL but to the game of hockey, with professionals playing in the Olympics. All the players wanted to go, but at the same time, I was able to compete as an amateur, and that was the greatest experience I had as a hockey player. So I can see http://www.anaheimducksofficialonline.com/Adidas-Simon-Despres-Jersey both sides of it. I'm sure it will be a great Olympics, and I'm really looking forward to watching it. Hopefully one day the NHL players will get a chance to go back.

sped his small sport plane low over the Gulf of Mexico minutes before his fatal crash two weeks ago, climbing sharply in the final seconds before diving into the water, federal investigators said in a preliminary report released Monday.

National Transportation Safety Board investigator Noreen Price placed no blame for the Nov. 7 accident near Tampa, simply laying out the facts as gleaned from the plane's data recorder and eyewitnesses. A final report with conclusions could take one to two years.
Price says Halladay, 40, had taken off from a lake near his Tampa-area home about 17 minutes before the crash, taking his ICON A5 to 1,900 feet (580 meters) before dropping to 600 feet (180 meters) as he neared the coastline. He then dropped to 36 feet (11 meters) when he reached the water. While flying at about 105 mph (170 kph), Halladay skimmed the water at 11 feet (3.3 meters), flying http://www.losangelesramshop.com/WOMENS-GREG-ZUERLEIN-JERSEY.html in a circle before climbing to 100 feet (30 meters), the plane's data showed.
A witness told investigators the plane climbed to between 300 and 500 feet (95 to 150 meters) when it turned and went into a 45-degree dive. It slammed into the water and flipped.Halladay's body was found with the plane, which was severely damaged. The plane itself was equipped with a parachute, but it was not deployed.
The former Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies star had received the plane from ICON on Oct. 10, and was one of the first to receive the model. In one of many enthusiastic tweets about the plane, Halladay said it felt "like flying a fighter jet." He had about 700 hours of flight time after getting his license in 2013, the report says. He had 51 hours in ICON A5s, including 14 in the plane that crashed.
Rolled out in 2014, the A5 is an amphibious aircraft meant to be treated like an ATV, a piece of weekend recreational gear with folding wings that can easily be towed on a trailer to a lake where it can take off from the water.
The man who led the plane's design, 55-year-old John Murray Karkow, died while flying an A5 over California's Lake Berryessa on May 8, a crash the NTSB attributed to pilot error. Another A5 crashed in April, making a hard landing in the water off Key Largo, Florida, injuring the pilot and his passenger. Clyde Drexler Jersey The pilot told investigators the plane descended faster than he expected.
Halladay, an eight-time All-Star, pitched a Duron Harmon Womens Jersey perfect game and a playoff no-hitter in 2010. He played for the Blue Jays from 1998 to 2009 and for the Phillies from 2009-13, going 203-105 with a 3.38 ERA.
One way or another, sources expect the 20-second pitch clock to become part of a sport that has long been celebrated for its timelessness. But with the average time of game now lagging to over three hours, commissioner Rob Manfred has been devoted to the mission of speeding up the action as part of an effort to appeal to the newest generations of fans.
According to data published by Fangraphs, no starting pitcher who qualified for the ERA title averaged under 20 seconds between pitches in 2017; the average was about 23.5 seconds. Pedro Baez of the Dodgers was the slowest-working reliever at 31.1 seconds between pitches. If the pitch clock is implemented, pitchers will have to make adjustments.
Some club officials, though, noted that some hitters may be more affected by the pitch clock http://www.officialnflstoreco.com/paul-richardson-jersey-c-1_1546_1555.html than pitchers because of the habits they developed between pitches, such as stepping out of the box, adjusting their batting gloves and taking extra practice swings.
Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera led all National League players who qualified for the batting title with 29.3 seconds between pitches, and the Astros' Marwin Gonzalez averaged an MLB-high 29.5 seconds. The Phillies fielded three of the six slowest-working hitters in MLB last season.

    • lucky has written a new blog article "Does any team really want to give Eric Hosmer $100 million" Yesterday

The $100 million question this offseason: Who is Eric Hosmer? Here are 14 things about the free agent to consider:

      1. Hosmer is 28 years old. This is fact and not for dispute, although maybe somebody from the Flat Earth Society will disagree. He will play all of the 2018 regular season at 28 years old. This makes him young for a free agent, and a six-year contract would take him through his age-33 season, so a favorable aspect of signing Hosmer is you at least don't have to worry as http://www.officialauthenticfalconshop.com/Nike-Devondre-Campbell-Jersey.html much about paying for the decline phase of his career.
      2. Hosmer won the Silver Slugger Award in 2017. Again, this is fact. You can argue whether he deserved the honor -- it could have just as easily gone to Jose Abreu or Justin Smoak or Logan Morrison -- but Hosmer http://www.tennesseetitansauthorizedstore.com/wesley-woodyard-jersey-elite won even though he didn't slug .500, and good luck finding another first baseman who won the Silver Slugger while slugging less than .500. Hosmer did have his best season at the plate, however, and that's a boost as he heads into free agency.
      3. On the other hand, Hosmer has been wildly inconsistent in his career. Over the past five seasons, his OPS ranged from .801 to .716 to .822 to .761 to .882. His season WAR totals since 2013 are 3.5, 0.8, 3.6, 1.0 and 4.0. His value has ranged from barely above replacement level to above average. He hit nine home runs in 2014 but has hit 25 each of the past two seasons. He hit .318 in 2017 but just .266 in 2016.
His numbers suggest a player susceptible to the baseball. When offense cratered in 2014, Hosmer's power also cratered. As the ball became more juiced the past two seasons, Hosmer's home run rate increased. Are you buying a consistent 25-homer guy who can hit .300, like he did in 2017? Or are you potentially paying $100 million for a player who may never again match his 2017 output?
      4. Hosmer hits a lot of balls on the ground. This is the big conundrum about Hosmer. Few players hit as many grounders as he does. Among regulars in 2017, only Dee Gordon, David Freese, Hunter Pence and DJ LeMahieu had a higher rate of balls on the ground than Hosmer's 55.9 Jordan Clarkson Womens Jersey percent. Joey Gallo, the most extreme fly ball hitter in 2017, had a fly ball rate of 48.6 percent; Hosmer was just 20 percent.
      5. When he does hit the ball in the air, Hosmer has power. His home run rate on fly balls was 15.8 percent, 14th best among regulars, right below Cody Bellinger and a higher rate than some sluggers like Gary Sanchez, Nelson Cruz and Mike Trout. He just doesn't hit enough balls in the air.
      6. He also doesn't pull the ball when he does hit it in the air. Here's his hit chart from 2017. Look at the fly ball outs to left field and left-center. The vast majority of his doubles are to the opposite field:
Maybe he'd benefit from leaving Kansas City. Kauffman Stadium did rate as the toughest home run park in the American League in 2017, with a park factor of 83, and it has a factor of 80 over the past three seasons, according to "The Bill James Handbook 2018." On the other hand, Hosmer hit 16 of his 25 home runs at home in 2017 and over his career has hit 60 at home, 67 on the road (with a nearly identical OPS). In general, hitters have a home-field advantage, so it's certainly possible that Hosmer would benefit from playing in a different park -- and there is a team looking for a first baseman that plays in a park that seems tailor-made for Hosmer's swing.
      9. Hosmer is or isn't a good defensive first baseman. Maybe you like defensive metrics or maybe you don't, but the metrics almost always match the reputation of a player. Those with good defensive reputations usually rate well in the metrics. Hosmer is an outlier in this area. He won his fourth Gold Glove in 2017, his fourth in five seasons, so the obvious consensus is he's been the best defensive first baseman in the American League.
The metrics disagree with that assessment. He rated at minus-7 defensive runs saved in 2017 -- that's seven runs below average. He rated minus-6 in 2016 Womens Wei-Yin Chen Jersey and plus-1 in 2015. That's one system. UZR graded him at minus-0.3 runs in 2017, minus-8.4 in 2016 and plus-1.0 in 2015. His supporters point out that he has good hands and scoops everything in the dirt; well, all major league first basemen scoop pretty much everything in the dirt. The systems agree that Hosmer simply lacks the range of the better glove guys, and they've been consistent with this evaluation throughout his career.

.96 fantasy points represented his biggest single-game score since 2016 Week 5, and his first game of at least 20 since 2016 Week 12. In 13 games between his most recent Damon Harrison Authentic Jersey 20-point efforts, he averaged just 13.3 fantasy points.

Fantasy owners saw this as a beneficial matchup for Roethlisberger, partly because of his recent home-game dominance -- he has averaged 22.5 fantasy points at home but only 13.2 on the road since the beginning of 2014 -- starting him in 52.2 percent of ESPN leagues (ninth-highest among quarterbacks).
Jacksonville Jaguars defense/special teams: For the third time this season, the Jaguars D/ST scored at least 25 fantasy points (27), making them the first team to accomplish that since the 2012 Chicago B.W. Webb Jersey Bears (also 3).
The Jaguars now have a commanding lead for the most fantasy points among D/ST this season, their 148 giving them a 23-point lead over the Baltimore Ravens (125). That gives the Jaguars a pace of http://www.officialcarolinahurricanes.com/Adidas-Cam-Ward-Jersey 236.8 fantasy points, which would be the most by any defense since the Ravens scored 242 in 2006. They'll face another great matchup in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: One could pick either Fitzpatrick or Blaine Gabbert (19.58) here, as both enjoyed a noticeable bye-week-fill-in bump, but Fitzpatrick stands out as both the higher scorer (19.90) and the one started in a greater percentage of ESPN leagues (19.2 percent, 17th among quarterbacks).
As Cam Newton did a week ago, Fitzpatrick had little trouble moving the football against the struggling Miami defense. Things should get more difficult for him in Week 12, however, as he'll face an Atlanta Falcons defense that held Dak Prescott to 13.24 fantasy points in Week 10.
Ravens D/ST: Let's give some credit to the Ravens' defense, which for the third time this season shut out its opponent with Sunday's zero-point effort coming against the Brett Hundley-led Green Bay Packers. The Ravens are the first team since the 2003 New England Patriots with three shutouts in a single year, and the performance pushed them clearly into second in D/ST scoring with 125 fantasy points this season. They also have four games with at least 20 fantasy points this season, which is the most in the league.
Ricky Seals-Jones, TE, Cardinals: He entered Sunday's game with only one target in three career NFL games, but broke through in a big way with his 20.4 PPR fantasy point effort, the best among tight ends in the 1 p.m. ET games. Seals-Jones reached a threshold that few have against the Houston Texans: His was only the fifth game of 20-plus PPR fantasy points against the Texans'
defense in the past five seasons (since the beginning of 2013), joining Rob http://www.officialtitansfootballshop.com/titans+corey+davis+jersey Gronkowski (24.7 in 2013 Week 13 and 22.9 in 2017 Week 3), Travis Kelce (28.6 in 2015 Week 1) and Julius Thomas (20.8 in 2015 Week 6). Unfortunately, few in fantasy capitalized upon this performance, as Seals-Jones remained available in more than 99.9 percent of ESPN leagues at the time of the kickoff.
For the third consecutive week, Thielen scored 20-plus PPR fantasy points, his 24.3 the second-best score among wide receivers during the 1 p.m. ET games. He has now totaled 75.7 PPR fantasy points during that three-game span, but more importantly, he has caught 19 of his 31 targets (61.3 percent) while facing defenses that have been above-average containing opposing wide receivers this season. Thielen was started in a career-high 88.7 percent of ESPN leagues in Week 11.
Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots: For the 46th time in his 18-year, 247-game NFL career, Brady scored at least 25 fantasy points, that the second most by a quarterback in history behind only Drew Brees (52) and the sixth most among players at any position (Jerry Rice 64, Marshall Faulk 56, Brees 52, Randy Moss 50, LaDainian Tomlinson 49). Brady finished Sunday's game in Mexico with 25.56 fantasy points, making him the first player in history to score at least 25 in a game played in the U.S., Mexico and the United Kingdom.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Baltimore Ravens currently hold onto the No. 6 and final playoff spot in the AFC because Sunday couldn't have gone any better for them.

The Ravens shut Authentic Mario Edwards Jr Jersey out the Green Bay Packers, 23-0, while the other contenders for that spot lost. The Buffalo Bills (5-5), Oakland Raiders (4-6) ad Miami Dolphins (4-6) fell by a combined score of 117-52. Baltimore (5-5) has the same record as Buffalo, but the Ravens hold the tiebreaker edge because their conference record (4-3) is better than the Bills (3-3).

The Ravens' remaining schedule is among the easiest in the league. Their final six opponents have a 25-35 record (.416). Baltimore plays four of its last six games at home and only faces two more teams with winning records in the Detroit Lions (6-4) and Pittsburgh Steelers (8-2).
Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara, http://www.authenticfootballonlinestore.com/new-york-giants-c-1574_1634.html RB, New Orleans Saints: Their performances played a significant part in the Saints' comeback victory on Sunday, as for the second consecutive week, both Ingram and Kamara scored more than 20 PPR fantasy points. Kamara's 18-yard reception followed by a two-point conversion run tied the game with just Joe Williams Youth jersey over a minute remaining, resulting in 25.6
PPR fantasy points, best among running backs from the 1 p.m. ET games. Ingram, meanwhile, scored 24.5 of his own while rushing for more than 100 yards with a touchdown for the fourth time in his past six games. By reaching the 20-point threshold in consecutive team games, Ingram and Kamara became the first pair of running backs from the same team to do so since Theotis Brown and Dan Doornink did it for the Seattle Seahawks in 1981 Weeks 10-11.
Keenan Allen, WR, Los Angeles Chargers: He set a new career high with both his 40.2 PPR and 28.2 non-PPR fantasy points, becoming the fourth WR1 to put up a big day against the Buffalo Bills' defense (also A.J. Green in Week 5, Mike Evans in Week 7 and Michael Thomas in Week 10). For Allen, it reversed what was a recent cold spell for him -- he was held beneath 10 PPR fantasy points in three of his past four games -- and sets him up for potentially another big week against http://www.officialsanfranciscogiantsshops.com/WOMENS-JUAN-MARICHAL-JERSEY.html the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12.
Kenny Stills, WR, Miami Dolphins: The quarterback switch from Jay Cutler (concussion) to Matt Moore to begin the second half of Sunday's game paid big dividends for Stills, who managed 27.4 of his career-high 31.0 PPR fantasy points while Moore was in the game. Stills caught just one pass for 26 yards in the entire first half with Cutler at quarterback. Another fact: Since Week 6, Stills has 44 targets, 11th most in the league (though Amari Cooper and Doug Baldwin both still have a pretty realistic chance to pass him). Yet another fact: Stills remains available in 72.5 percent of ESPN leagues.
Antonio Brown, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers: He got the week off to quite a start with his 42.4 PPR and 32.4 non-PPR fantasy points on Thursday Night Football, the former the third-best effort of his 111-game NFL career (behind his 46.9 in 2015 Week 15 and 45.6 in 2015 Week 9) and the latter a new personal best. The former also gave Brown an 18th career game with at least 30 PPR fantasy points, tying him with Jerry Rice for the most by any player in history before his 30th birthday.
Kirk Cousins, QB, Washington Nick Perry Jersey Redskins: Though his NFL game ended in heartbreak -- the opposing New Orleans Saints rallied from a 31-16 deficit with less than six minutes to play to win in overtime 34-31 -- Cousins' 25.98 fantasy points probably earned those teams a "W." It was the fourth time this season he scored at least 25, moving him into a tie with Alex Smith and Russell http://www.officialangelsproshop.com/Huston_Street_Jersey Wilson
(with Wilson set to play Monday night Patrik Laine Womens Jersey and Dak Prescott, who has three, playing Sunday night) for the most by any quarterback this season. Come week's end -- and remember that the byes conclude this week so every quarterback will have had an equal number of team games -- Cousins will rank fifth at the position in fantasy points (193.94).

    • lucky has written a new blog article "Falcons get a little swagger back with tough road win in Seattle" Yesterday

SEATTLE -- When the Atlanta Falcons needed a big play to put themselves in position to secure a win, they turned to their marquee players to get it done. Reigning MVP Matt Ryan's deep pass to All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones down the right

sideline with 7 minutes, 39 seconds remaining in regulation symbolized just why the Falcons still are a serious threat in the NFC. Ryan perfectly placed the ball where only Jones could get it, and Jones corralled the ball with ease, brushing off the coverage by Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane.
The 29-yard play not only set up a Matt Bryant field goal that helped give the Falcons breathing room, it also served as a message to the rest of the league that this high-octane offense that made it all the way to last season's Super Bowl still can have its moments.
"We had a lot of man-to-man coverage on third down tonight, and a really good call at the time by [offensive coordinator Niklas Kronwall Jersey Steve Sarkisian]," Ryan explained. "We had a good concept going on the left. We knew if we had one-on-one, we had an opportunity to throw it down the field to Julio. I tried to hold the safety in the center of the field to keep him in that spot. So it was really just Julio and the corner on an island, and Julio made a great play."
Sure, the Falcons had to hold on in the final minutes as Russell Wilson and the Seahawks surged, and had to hold their breath until Blair Walsh's 52-yard field goal missed as time expired. But a 34-31 win boosted Atlanta's record to 6-4 and marked a second consecutive victory, following up last week's home triumph over Dallas. More importantly, the Falcons now have the same record as the Seahawks, Cowboys and Detroit Lions and own the tiebreakers over all three.
The Falcons are 5-1 in NFC play and now have a http://www.officialvancouvercanucks.com/Adidas-Igor-Larionov-Jersey little momentum with a slew of NFC South games around the corner, starting with Sunday's matchup with Tampa Bay. It's the first of three consecutive http://www.bearsfootballproonline.com/Jordan-Howard-Jersey home games, even more reason why the Falcons can generate a little steam toward a postseason run. "It beats the alternative, right?" Ryan said of playing three at home. "Want to have momentum going into it. It's good for us. Obviously winning games, finding way to win, that's huge. Getting back home is going Authentic Scott Laughton Jersey to be great for us."
Ryan, who had 195 passing yards, had his NFL-record streak of 200-yard passing games end at 64. It didn't matter because Ryan made winning plays, including a third-down scramble that kept alive a scoring drive and set up his 25-yard touchdown pass to Levine Toilolo off play-action.
The Falcons didn't run the ball much, rushing for 89 yards on 30 carries with Devonta Freeman out with a concussion. But there were some key runs, particularly one late by backup Terron Ward that showed the "grit" coach Dan Quinn expects from his team.
The Seahawks, playing without Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor, allowed the Falcons to match their season high in points. They also allowed the Falcons to convert 9-of-14 on third down, which is uncharacteristic of a Pete Carroll http://www.officialtampabaylightning.com/Adidas-Martin-St--Louis-Jersey defense.
The Falcons looked more like the Legion of Boom, in spurts. Tacoma, Washington, native Desmond Trufant came up with an interception that set up a touchdown. And Adrian Clayborn, who set a franchise record with six sacks last week, scooped up a fumble and returned it 10 yards for a score.
"We're a confident group," Trufant said. "We know we've got players that can match up with everybody. We've got a great scheme, great chemistry. It's just a great environment here. We just have to continue to put it on film and display it on game day."
No, the Falcons' effort wasn't flawless. Special teams coach Keith Armstrong might blow a gasket in the meeting room because of the Logan Stanley Youth jersey yards given up on kickoff returns plus the fumbled kickoff by Andre Roberts. But all in all, the Falcons won in a place where it's tough for visitors to win. That's another step toward shaking off any type of Super Bowl hangover.

    • lucky has written a new blog article "Orioles face a tough reality with Zach Britton" 11.21.2017

In the eyes of some rival evaluators, the Orioles have been overachievers the past six years. With a win-loss record of 66 games over .500 in that span, Baltimore has reached the playoffs three times, despite inhabiting the same division as the Yankees and Red Sox, which is why those evaluators tend to give the Orioles the benefit of the doubt. “They exceed your expectations most of the time,” said an official. “They figure something out.”

Ingenuity is needed now more than ever in Baltimore, because of stark roster shortages and a mass of contract quandaries. In discussions early this offseason, the Orioles have signaled to other teams that they will have to move some money -- and, specifically, they are prepared to listen to offers for the more expensive pieces from their group of relievers, including closer Zach Britton. It might be that, given the timing of this urgency, they can’t necessarily expect a lot in return.
The Orioles probably could’ve gotten a Jaquiski Tartt Womens Jersey big haul for Britton if they had moved him in the summer of 2016, and there was measured trade interest this past July, after he was hurt early in 2017. Now the left-hander needs just a year to reach free agency, and after he goes through his last round of arbitration, he’ll probably have a salary of something in the neighborhood of $14 million to $15 million.
The Orioles believe that Britton is fully recovered from his arm trouble and that he’ll wholly regain the command that sometimes eluded him in the last two months of the 2017 regular season. But between Britton’s impending free http://www.cowboysnflofficialprostore.com/YOUTH+L+P+LADOUCEUR+JERSEY agency, recent medical history and high salary, Baltimore probably can’t expect to get a big piece in return for the lefty who had one of the greatest seasons ever for a reliever in 2016.
The calendar works against the Britton’s market value, as well: Relievers have almost always had better trade value in July than in the winter, because teams feel a heightened sense of urgency to add one or two more finishing pieces to bullpens.
Kansas City was in a similar situation with Wade Davis last winter. Davis pitched effectively in 2016 but had some arm trouble, and Davis locked into a $10 million salary for 2017 with just one season remaining before free agency. The Royals flipped him to the Cubs for outfielder Jorge Soler -- something of a gamble.
“You could see what the Royals were thinking,” said one NL official. “There was a chance they might hit big with Soler, for a year of Davis.”
That deal for the 25-year-old Soler didn’t pan out in his first season with the Royals, as he batted .144 with a .503 OPS in 35 games for Kansas City. And the Orioles probably aren’t going to get a can’t-miss player for Britton, either. If the offers aren’t suitable, Baltimore could just keep Britton for at least the start of the 2018 season; if the Orioles fall out of the race, they could swap him under more favorable trade conditions in the middle of next summer.
But the Orioles have a desperate need for payroll flexibility right now, with only two experienced starting pitchers under contract -- Kevin Gausman and Dylan Bundy. Baltimore has been linked in media speculation to a number of free-agent starting pitchers but probably isn’t in a position yet to bid competitively on the top two tiers of free agents because of other obligations. http://www.officialindianstore.com/Lonnie_Chisenhall_Jersey
Adam Jones will make $17.3 million next year, Mark Trumbo $12.5 million and Chris Davis $23 million; and through arbitration, third baseman Manny Machado, second baseman Jonathan Schoop and reliever Brad Brach will all get big raises. Darren O'Day is in line to make $9 million in each of the next two seasons.
If the Orioles bypass a Britton trade this winter, they’ll probably look to move one or two of their other expensive relievers, Brach or O’Day, in an effort to improve a rotation that constantly left Emmanuel Lamur Womens Jersey Baltimore in early-game holes this past season. Baltimore’s 5.70 ERA for starting pitchers was the worst in the majors last season, and in the second half of 2017, the position players seemed beleaguered after months of being asked to overcome deficits.

owner has heaped praise on America's most powerful commissioner for being a visionary, a "grow-the-pie thinker." Jones, now 75, uses a cost-benefit analysis to measure the value of many relationships, and as the NFL grew from a $6 billion-a-year to a $14 billion-a-year enterprise under Goodell, their relationship seemed strong. But then Goodell suspended Elliott, and it's only gotten nastier since,

with that decision clarifying Jones' long-standing worries about Goodell's leadership, his current total annual compensation of $42 million, and the approval process for a contract extension expected to pay even more, according to documents and nearly two dozen interviews by Outside the Lines with owners, league and team executives and lawyers, Jarome Iginla Jersey and union leaders.

Trust among owners and among senior executives inside the league office has all but evaporated. Authentic Steven Stamkos Jersey In early November, when Jones threatened to sue his fellow owners http://www.chiefsnflofficialprostore.com/TANOH-KPASSAGNON-JERSEY-CHEAP.html and the league to stop progress on Goodell's next contract, Falcons owner and compensation http://www.officialrockieshop.com/authentic-21-jonathan-lucroy-jersey.html committee chairman Arthur Blank told Jones, "This is not how we do things in the NFL."
As the league's TV ratings and favorability polls have drifted downward this autumn, a growing number of owners have expressed their dissatisfaction with Goodell's stewardship: He has not held many executives accountable despite a long line of mishandled crises; even with tens of millions of dollars invested in new executives and consultants,
Goodell still has not managed to resolve high-profile cases of http://www.officialpacersonlineshop.com/Authentic-Al-Jefferson-Jersey player discipline without embarrassing legal battles; behind closed doors, even perfunctory policy decisions, like the posting of game highlights on Twitter, have become bitter showdowns among owners and executives. At the same time, the league has been exposed to unprecedented pressure over
player protests during the national anthem that have polarized fans and players while angering sponsors and TV network partners. Even more, throughout the past few months, the war for the future of the NFL has played out uncomfortably and publicly, often through competing leaks between owners, all of which has distracted fans from the actual games.
It is a turmoil that seems new but actually began years ago in a shadow war waged inside the cloistered world of NFL offices, owners' suites, private meetings and conference calls, rooted in very different visions, mostly by Jerry Jones and Roger Goodell, about what the NFL's future should be.
BEFORE ENVISIONING AN NFL without Goodell, Jones needed him in it. More than a John Klingberg Womens Jersey decade ago in a league meeting, Jones stood before his fellow owners and, in the words of an executive in the room, "all but begged" for a loan.
The price tag http://www.detroitlions.us.com/WOMENS-TRAVIS-SWANSON-JERSEY.html had skyrocketed on his $1.3 billion AT&T Stadium, and he needed more cash from the league's G3 loan program. Jones also knew that many owners were angry with him; years earlier, he had disposed of thousands of seats at Texas Stadium and replaced them with club suites, trading revenue shareable with visiting teams' owners for money that went straight into his own pocket. So on this day, he told owners that he realized what he had done was unfair -- but that he was building a stadium that would be a great showplace for the NFL and needed tens of millions in additional loans.
Goodell was silent during Authentic Colton Sceviour Jersey the meeting. Back then, he was the NFL's chief operating officer, commissioner Paul Tagliabue's No. 2 and the favorite of a clique of powerful owners to succeed Tagliabue. But after Jones' speech, owners approved the loan, in no small part because Goodell helped muscle the proposal through in private conversations with owners,
selling them on Jones' vision of a football palace. In August 2006, Jones returned the favor. Goodell was elected commissioner, aided in part by Jones, who, along with others, twisted arms to put Goodell over his closest challenger, league attorney Gregg Levy. After Goodell won, the owners were deeply divided. Owners of the smaller-market clubs who had supported Levy worried that Goodell would leave them behind. Goodell had to find concepts that everyone could support, setting up the fight playing out today:

Kansas hecklers and apparently telling them, "You have one win! Stick to basketball." Asked about Mayfield's crotch grab, Dineen said, "Trash talk and stuff like that is part of the game. If he thought that was necessary to http://www.authenticsavalanchestore.com/francois-beauchemin-jersey_c-450.html do, then whatever. That doesn't hurt my feelings or anything like that. If a guy says 'F-you' to me, I'll brush it off. It's happened before. It's nothing really."

Saturday wasn't the first time Mayfield has been embroiled in controversy. After a Week Womens Walter Brown Jersey 2 victory at Ohio State, he planted an Oklahoma flag at midfield of The Shoe. He apologized for the celebration, saying he "didn't mean for it to be disrespectful."
"Football is a competitive game for a reason," Mayfield said. "There's a lot of emotion. On the field, there's a lot of trash talk that goes on. Today I just took it too far."
THERE WAS A PAUSE. It was Aug. 9, inside Roger Goodell's sixth-floor office at the NFL's Park Avenue headquarters in New York City -- down the hall, past the executives' offices and his assistant's desk, and through a large, thick wooden door that is both imposing and usually left open to serve as a welcome. Goodell huddled over a speakerphone with general
counsel Jeff Pash. On the other end was Jerry Jones. Adhering to the protocol of giving owners a 48-hour heads-up before a major disciplinary issue involving their team is announced, Goodell and Pash informed Jones that after a 13-month domestic violence inquiry, the Dallas Cowboys' star running back, Ezekiel Elliott, would face punishment -- a six-game suspension.
The line went quiet. Seconds passed. Goodell's decision was an unconscionable violation of trust, Jones later told associates, because he believed that the commissioner had assured him this past spring that there would be no suspension.
Jones saw in Elliott a genuine opportunity, a player so good that he James Patrick Authentic Jersey had made Jones believe that this year he just might win a Super Bowl for the first time since 1996. http://www.torontomapleleafsofficialonline.com/Adidas-Doug-Gilmour-Jersey His anger was palpable. Finally, according to sources with direct knowledge of the call, Jones broke the silence. He aimed his words not only at Goodell's decision but also at his role as judge, jury and executioner in the case.
"I'm gonna come after you with everything I have," Jones said. Then he mentioned Deflategate. "If you think Bob Kraft came after you hard, Bob Kraft is a p---y compared to what I'm going to do."
Nobody knows what Jones is going to do. But at the age of 58, Goodell is fighting to keep his job. Up close, though, his face has changed due to relentless stress; it Anton Stralman Womens Jersey is now sallow and lined and tired. Roger Goodell is in a battle few saw coming, with the league's membership teetering on an all-out, unprecedented civil war.
A LITTLE LESS than a week before that contentious conference call, Goodell and Jones seemed as close as ever at Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio, even as friction burned beneath the surface. Goodell was among the guests at Jones'
multimillion-dollar Hall of Fame celebration inside a white tent big enough to accommodate a pair of Boeing 767 jets. Goodell knew that Elliott would be suspended, but he held off on the league announcement of it so that Jones could enjoy his moment. Goodell hugged Jones and offered his hearty congratulations as Justin Timberlake delivered a two-hour set, telling the crowd: "The greatest owner in the history of sports is being honored tonight!"

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Heisman Trophy front-runner and Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield apologized for his "unacceptable" and "disrespectful" actions toward Kansas players during the Sooners' 41-3 victory Saturday.

During a chippy game that was preceded by a Kansas captain refusing to return Mayfield's offer of a handshake during the coin toss, Mayfield grabbed his crotch and appeared to yell "F--- you!" at the Jayhawks' sideline.
"I got caught up in a competitive Authentic Nicklas Lidstrom Jersey game, a chippy game, but what I did was unacceptable," Mayfield said. "I apologize. It's disrespectful. It's not the example I want to set. It's not the legacy I want to leave at OU. I truly do apologize. Thinking about the kids that are watching this now, it's not something I want to do to the parents out there. I'm sorry." Mayfield also issued an apology later Saturday on his Twitter account.
Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley said there was "no excuse" for Mayfield's actions and said he would consider disciplinary action once he gets the chance to watch the antics for himself.
"It was http://www.nflcardinalsofficial.com/Authentic-Karlos-Dansby-Jersey a chippy game, and it was chippy from the second their guys decided they didn't want to shake our hands at the coin toss," Riley said. "The chippiness started there. ... Baker is a competitive guy and let his emotions get the best of him. We can't have that, he can't do that."
Tensions began to escalate from the opening coin toss between Mayfield and the Jayhawks. Mayfield attempted to shake hands with Kansas linebacker Joe Dineen Jr., but he was snubbed. In return, Mayfield scoffed and began clapping his hands as he walked back. Moments later, he was helmet-to-helmet with another Kansas captain, defensive end Dorance Armstrong Jr.
Dineen acknowledged afterward that refusing to shake http://www.officialducksshoponline.com/authentic-4-cam-fowler-jersey.html Mayfield's hand looked bad but said the Jayhawks didn't intend to be disrespectful.
"It wasn't an attack on him personally at all," Dineen said. "I respect him. He's obviously a great player. It was more for us personally to kind of put our foot down and kind of get a little bit fired up before the game and let them know that we're here and we're not going to just back down because you're Oklahoma."
Jayhawks coach David Beaty said he understood the message his players were trying to send by refusing to shake hands, but added, "I've got to do a better job as their coach, maybe teaching them how to manage that a little bit better. ... But I certainly don't think it was anything more than the fact that this is a football game. It's a football game, and we're going to defend our grass. From that standpoint, I think it helped us. We were ready to go."
In the second quarter, Mayfield grew more upset after taking a late hit to the head Womens Tyrunn Walker Jersey from Kansas corner Hasan Defense. Defense was flagged for roughing the passer but not targeting. As Mayfield walked ahead to rejoin his teammates, he began chirping at the Kansas sideline.
hat carried over into the second half, when Mayfield grabbed his crotch and yelled at the Kansas team from across the field after tossing a 3-yard touchdown pass to Mark Andrews, putting the Sooners up 28-3.
"You get caught up in the emotional stuff," Mayfield said. "But when the coaches said something about it, that's when I realized I had really messed up. Cameras are always on me. You've got to be smart."

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Entering Sunday night, the only team that had a legitimate shot to catch the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East was the Dallas Cowboys. That's a serious long shot now. With the division nearly in hand, the home stretch becomes all about NFC superiority for http://www.texansprosshop.com/Braxton_Miller_Jersey_Cheap Philly.

Quarterback Carson Wentz and the offense rebounded from a sluggish first half, and the defense harassed Dak Prescott as the Eagles plowed past the Cowboys 37-9 on Sunday. The Eagles (9-1) own the best record in football, while Dallas (5-5) is four games back with six to play. The Washington Redskins (4-6) and New York Giants (2-8) are dots in the rearview mirror.
The Cowboys, who had a 2-0 division record and both dates with the Eagles in the second half of Womens Fabian Moreau Jersey the season, came in with a fighting chance. And they were well-positioned after the first 30 minutes, holding a 9-7 lead despite two Prescott interceptions. Then the Eagles turned on the jets and throttled the Cowboys 30-0 in the second half.
"I think it just shows we're resilient," Wentz said. "I think we knew coming into the locker room at halftime that we left a lot out there. I think we knew we were much better than that, and that we just had to go execute."
Wentz, an MVP candidate, was off early, going 7-of-18 in the first half while averaging just 4.4 yards per attempt. He spent some time on the trainer's table after absorbing a hit late in the first quarter but stayed in the game. He acknowledged afterward that he was in the concussion protocol.
"We were fine. It was just back of the neck. I was just trying to speed it up and get back there as quick as I could," he said. The entire offensive operation was disjointed, perhaps evidence of rust coming off their bye week.
The No. 2-scoring team in football kicked it into gear in the second half to pull away, Andre Reed Jersey scoring on three straight possessions. Rookie Corey Clement got the ground game going with an 11-yard TD run, and the recently acquired Jay Ajayi followed with a career-high 71-yard run the following series. Wentz threw back-to-back TD passes -- one to Torrey Smith and another to Alshon Jeffery. Seemingly all of his new playmakers were on display.
The Eagles' defense, meanwhile, made life miserable for Prescott. The QB threw three interceptions for the first time in his career and was sacked four times, including a strip by rookie Derek Barnett that linebacker Nigel Bradham scooped up and returned 37 yards for a touchdown.
"It is huge, especially when you beat the division champs from last season," Bradham said. "We felt like we had these guys last season; we went into overtime out here [and lost]. We knew we were a better team this year. That was it. We knew we had the ability to do it, we just had to come out and execute."
The Eagles lost kicker Jake Elliott to a head injury late in the first half, but linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill stepped in and performed well on kickoffs. Grugier-Hill's performance, and the second-half domination, made Elliott's absence a non-factor.
Next up for the Eagles is a home game against the Chicago Bears before heading West for games against the Seattle http://www.authenticsandiegopadres.com/Cory-Spangenberg-Jersey Seahawks (6-3) and Los Angeles Rams (7-3). Those are two teams, along with the New Orleans Saints (8-2), Minnesota Vikings (8-2) and Carolina Panthers (6-3), that will be competing for playoff position. With the NFC East close to locked up, the Eagles can turn their attention to the rest of the conference and securing home field throughout the postseason.
"We don't really Authentic Tyrell Williams Jersey think about all that, we just think that we got the Bears next week," Wentz said. "Win the day, that's what it's all about. So hopefully we can just keep this thing rolling."

    • lucky has written a new blog article "Could Hall of Famers like Paul Kariya or Scott" 11.20.2017

Rule changes enacted after the 2005 lockout, including removing the red line for the two-line pass, helped transform NHL games into nightly track meets. Today's game is faster than ever, and features a lot less clutching and grabbing.

ESPN.com asked a handful of retired stars -- including a couple of newly minted Hall of Famers -- how they believe they'd fare if they laced up their skates http://www.officialredsoxauthentic.com/Chris_Sale_Jersey for the 2017-18 season. Here's what they said:
Paul Kariya (1994-2010): People have asked me, "Without the clutching and grabbing, would you have done better now?" The truth of the matter is, every player in the league is better now. Everyone skates well.
When we were playing, we knew defensemen didn't turn a certain way that well, and now we don't see that. Now there really isn't a guy in the league now who isn't an excellent skater, [or Womens Randall Cobb Jersey at least] an above-average skater. And the goaltenders are just so much better than when we played. The athleticism and abilities of today's goaltenders -- that's who I wouldn't want to play against.
Dave Andreychuk (1982-2006): If I played today, I'd get called on a lot of penalties, I'd say that much. Still, at the same time, nobody moves you out in front of the net [now], they all crunch in. So I think I might have done OK.
Patrik Elias (1995-2016): I think actually this style of hockey suits me better. I had a harder time Authentic Mark Letestu Jersey when I came in. I was playing against guys who were 250 pounds and 6-feet-5, and there were no rules. You were just getting abused. Grabbing, slashing, cross-checking, you could get away with anything, pretty much!
Jari Jaccob Slavin Youth jersey Kurri (1978-98): The game has changed a lot, but I think I would do OK. The rules have changed. The red line is not there. There is so much speed out there, it's scary. I sometimes worry [about injuries]. I don't think today's hockey players, with the speed that http://www.officialauthenticchiefsstore.com/Nike-Marcus-Peters-Jersey.html they have, have enough room to showcase their skill. I think they should have bigger ice.
Scott Stevens (1982-2004): I think you always find a way how, even with changes, to [adjust and] play the game. I think that wouldn't be a problem. It's a faster game. The red line being out is a little tougher for the defensemen, because you have guys behind you, so you have to be a little careful. It's a faster game, the skill level and the speed of the game is pretty amazing.
There's not as much hitting, obviously; they've had to curb that a bit, because of injuries -- and that's important, much like in football. [Hockey is] a great game still; it's the best game out there in the world, and I think I'd adapt if I was playing now.
Martin St. Louis (1998-2015): The NHL evolves almost every two to three years. As a player, you have to adapt and evolve yourself or you'll get left behind. Players are coming in, younger and younger, and there's a deeper pool every year. It's a fast game now, and I think that probably fits my style.
Mark Recchi (1998-2011): I think I'd fit in fine. I think I skated well enough, and obviously my hockey sense was good enough. I really believe I could have played in any year, in any style.
Steve Yzerman (1983-2006): It's a different game. I've watched the players adjust. But, with each era, players figure it out. I enjoy watching the game, for the most part. I think most of the changes that have been made in the 10, 15 years have been outstanding. I have my own opinion on some things -- some good, some bad -- but most nights I walk out of http://www.authenticcincinnatireds.com/Chris-Sabo-Jersey the rink pretty happy.

Last year's free-agent class was the worst I'd ever seen, so we could only go up from there Authentic Pierre Turgeon Jersey -- and we have, as the top tier this winter is substantially better than last year's, and the rankings aren't quite so reliant on relievers and bench http://www.philadelphiaflyersofficialonline.com/Adidas-Boyd-Gordon-Jersey guys. The class is still overpopulated with the

first-base/DH/oh-God-I-hope-we-don't-have-to-play-him-in-left-field types, many of whom have long-standing platoon splits. But that seems to http://www.jetsshopnfl.com/chandler-catanzaro-jersey_c-468.html be a regular feature of free agency at this point, especially as teams turn away from long-term deals for average corner bats and try to develop younger, cheaper ones internally.

As usual, there's a ton of money out there in search of players. With these rankings, I try to provide a rough idea of the offer I'd be comfortable making to each player if I were the general manager of a contending team (or would-be contending team)
and operating at or above the median payroll level. Estimating the actual dollar value of a player to any specific team is nearly impossible, because we don't know what the marginal revenue product of a win is for http://www.dolphinsshopnflonline.com/Byron-Maxwell-Jersey each club, and that number can change for a team from season to season, or even within a season, if it's much better or worse than expected.
My numbers are not predictions, and they often will fall short of actual market values. That is due to the "winner's curse" phenomenon, in which http://www.packersnflofficialonlinestore.com/Damarious-Randall-Jersey the winner of an auction for a good player of uncertain value is the bidder whose internal estimates are the highest (and thus perhaps too optimistic). Teams with large payrolls can and often do pay more for a win in the free-agent market.
This document will be updated as the offseason wears on. When a player signs, we'll add a note in the profile as Alex Stalock Jersey to which team he signed with and for how much. We'll also add a note if he received a $17.4-million qualifying offer. If a player receives one and signs elsewhere, the signing team will lose a draft pick, and having a qualifying offer "attached" can really hurt the value of non-elite free agents.
I have excluded Nippon Professional Baseball superstar Shohei Otani for now, as there's no evidence yet to say he's going to be posted this winter. He doesn't have an agent, and he had surgery last month to repair a posterior impingement in an ankle that bothered him all season.
If he Curley Culp Authentic Jersey is posted this winter, he'll be subject to MLB's (ridiculous, myopic) caps on international free agents that normally apply to 16-year-old amateurs. If he were to wait two more seasons and join the majors after 2019, however, he would be a completely unrestricted free agent. The difference in compensation would likely be more than $100 million, so he has strong incentive to get healthy, pitch well for two years, and then come over for a huge windfall.
There are no free-agent Travis Wood Jersey bargains -- at least, not at the time of signing, since, in theory, an efficient market with up to 30 buyers should price players appropriately, with the team that signs each player the one that had the highest projections for the player's future production.
That system will produce more bad deals for teams than good ones, which I think is a fair summary of the history of free agency in baseball. The bargains that exist tend to be ones we discover after the fact: the player who needed a change of scenery, finally got healthy, changed something about his swing or his delivery or his repertoire.
With that in mind, here are players from my top 50 free agents who I at least think might offer a little more upside than what they've shown in recent years, and perhaps one or two who might look like bargains when we re-examine the class in hindsight.

    • lucky has written a new blog article "Spurs' comeback win over Thunder ties for third-largest" 11.20.2017

SAN ANTONIO -- Even without star forward Kawhi Leonard and veteran point guard Tony Parker, the San Antonio Spurs managed to overcome a 23-point deficit to win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, tying the largest comeback victory thus far this NBA season. The win also ranked as the franchise's third-largest comeback victory under coach Gregg Popovich.

"It was a fine win," Popovich said. "The guys really dug deep, pounded the rock. We kept a great attitude, and they just kept their minds on playing basic basketball and things turned their way. The effort was great, and they played http://www.authenticpanthersstore.com/authentic-27-nick-bjugstad-jersey.html a lot smarter in the second half. They took care of the ball, and just showed a lot of courage. Overall, a great team win."

San Antonio trailed Authentic Kevin Garnett Jersey by 23 points (43-20) with 9:28 remaining in the first half in large part due to a disastrous opening quarter in which the Latrell Sprewell Womens Jersey Spurs turned over the ball seven times while knocking down just six field Bo Horvat Authentic Jersey goals. Veteran Manu Ginobili committed four of those turnovers as San Antonio connected on just 6-of-19 from the floor.
But sympathy never set in for a shorthanded Spurs squad against an Oklahoma City Thunder team featuring a trio of bona fide stars in Carmelo Anthony, Paul George and reigning MVP Russell Westbrook.
"Pop doesn't let you feel sorry for yourself," said power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who scored a game-high 26 points, including a putback off a Danny Green miss with 24.2 seconds remaining to help San Antonio preserve the win.
The 23-point margin was equal to that of the Cavaliers' comeback win over the Knicks on Monday. At the conclusion of Friday's contest, Popovich told ESPN's Doris Burke that the team experienced "an attitude change from 'poor me' to 'screw you.'"
Green certainly served as a catalyst in the effort. Although the injured Leonard receives most of the recognition as San Antonio's best defender, Green is coming off a 2016-17 season in which he was selected to the NBA's all-defensive second team. He looked the part defending Westbrook. Westbrook hit his first two shots of the night, but connected on just 3 of his final 20 attempts, including 1-of-10 when guarded by Green.
"It was a big one for us, a http://www.buccaneersofficialauthentic.com/Authentic-Chris-Godwin-Jersey gutsy one," Green said. "We grinded it out and came back. So it was a lot of fun. Those games are always a good challenge. We came into the league to play in those types of games."
The Spurs started off the second quarter trailing by 14 points and cut that deficit to 7 by halftime. San Antonio finally tied the game at 78 with 38.3 seconds left in the third quarter on a 27-foot jumper by Davis Bertans off a Dejounte Murray assist. "They just came back," Westbrook said. "They played faster and did a good job of getting themselves back in the game."
A Ginobili 3-pointer to start off the fourth quarter gave San Antonio its first lead (81-78) since Green put the Spurs ahead 2-0 just five seconds into the game when they secured the opening tip.
he Thunder trio of Westbrook, Anthony and George started off hitting 8-of-16 in the opening quarter. From the second quarter on, they combined to connect on 11-of-39, and contributed a total of 24 points in the second half. Meanwhile, San Antonio's threesome of Aldridge, Pau Gasol and Ginobili came together for 30 on 8-of-13 shooting in the second half.
"It takes one, two plays, three in a row," Gasol said. "But you've got to start somewhere to turn it around. We knew http://www.officialauthenticpackersstore.com/Nike-Quinten-Rollins-Jersey.html there was a lot of ballgame to be played. So we had still a margin to get back into the game, give ourselves a chance. I think the team showed a lot of heart, a lot of character tonight by not giving up. We fought, and we got rewarded."

Brown's one-handed dagger of a touchdown catch -- ball pressed against his dome as he Womens Tedric Thompson Jersey fell backward -- was so good that the 10-yard score required at least three double takes. Leave it to a prime-time game at home to get Brown, Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers back to sizzle status.

After weeks of erratic offense, the Steelers notched their biggest explosion of the season with a commanding second half in a 40-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night. The Steelers (8-2) want home-field advantage in the playoffs. Well, this is how dangerous they http://www.pacersprostore.com/WOMENS-THADDEUS-YOUNG-JERSEY.html can be if they get it.

"It's about time, I guess you could say," guard David DeCastro said. There's something about prime-time games at Heinz Field that spark Big Ben, who now has at least four touchdowns in his past three night games in Pittsburgh. He's 19-3 all time in that setting.
And after a quiet 12 catches and one touchdown over the past three weeks, there was no way Brown would stay quiet for long. He caught 10 passes for 144 yards and posted his second career three-touchdown game.
Despite a curious first-half lull, the Steelers looked like the offense they drew up in the preseason: Taking what's available, Brown weaving through traffic, running back Le'Veon Bell doing a bit of everything, JuJu Smith-Schuster as the intermediate pass-catching option, and receiver Martavis Bryant and tight end Jesse James coming through with timely plays.
The only thing that was off was Bell's modest workload of 12 carries for 46 yards. Bell getting 25 or more carries usually is a recipe for Steelers victories, Cory Joseph Authentic Jersey but such heavy lifting wasn't necessary Thursday, and Bell added nine catches for 57 yards on the night.
This was, by far, Roethlisberger's cleanest game of the season; he mixed no-huddle offense with a more balanced, calculated attack, depending on the mood. Roethlisberger's 30-of-45 passing for 299 yards was a welcome sign for Steelers fans hoping http://www.chicagobears.us.com/WOMENS-MIKE-SINGLETARY-JERSEY.html for more vintage Big Ben moments down the stretch.
Peak offensive performance came at the 1-yard line to start the fourth quarter, when James faked a missed block, Bell faked a rush and Roethlisberger went over the top to a wide-open James for the score. Perfect red zone work.
Roethlisberger challenged his offense to make plays in the second half, himself included. The http://www.officialfootballvikingstore.com/Nike-Nick-Easton-Jersey.html 14-year veteran proceeded to complete 15 of his final 16 passes for 141 yards and three scores, relying on empty sets to get the ball out more quickly.
"I don't care if you're old or young, just someone has to step up and make a play for this team," said Roethlisberger, recalling the halftime talk. "Or else we are going to keep relying on our defense. It is time that we step up and do something. I love the way they all responded."
Brown did the rest with his ninth career game http://www.nflbengalsofficialshop.com/Nike-Jordan-Willis-Jersey.html in which he had at Glenn Hubbard Authentic Jersey least 100 receiving yards and at least two touchdowns, a league high since 2013. His toe-tap catch for Womens Andy Levitre Jersey 23 yards early in the fourth quarter might have been a body blow. But then he went and topped that with a 10-yard score on Titans cornerback Logan Ryan that will go high on Brown's career highlight reel.

    • lucky has written a new blog article "Brown saw a lot of man coverage. He was pleased." 11.20.2017

"I love it http://www.authentichoustonastros.com/Jeff-Bagwell-Jersey when guys bet against their guy versus me," Brown said. "I'll take that matchup all day." The defense had a few rough moments, but it's hard to complain about forcing Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota's first career four-interception game. Mariota had six interceptions all season before Thursday. The Steelers recorded their first four-pick game since Week 11 of 1997 against the Baltimore Ravens.

DE Cam Heyward (two sacks) was dominant, and CB Corey Peters Authentic Jersey Coty Sensabaugh held up well in replacing Joe Haden, save Rishard Matthews' 75-yard touchdown on a play with no safety help. The Pittsburgh defense contained the run-option with the edge, applied interior pressure with Heyward and Stephon Tuitt, blitzed with linebacker Vince Williams and others, and let coverage do the rest.

The Steelers' message at halftime was clear: Make tackles. "Tuitt and Cam really got all our pressure," linebacker Bud Dupree said. Midway through the third, Titans TE Delanie Walker gashed the Steelers up the middle for a 42-yarder http://www.chargersofficialnflproshop.com/Nike-Max-Tuerk-Jersey.html and a would-be 17-yard touchdown that he dropped in the back of the end zone. That cost the Titans four points, as they settled for a http://www.authenticphilliesstore.com/Authentic-Maikel-Franco-Jersey field goal to cut the lead to 23-17, but the Steelers were rolling at that point.
After all, once the Steelers get out to double-digit leads, they always protect them -- at least with Bell, Brown and Roethlisberger. Pittsburgh has won 26 straight with those three when up by 10 points or more. This resounding win suggests there might be more chances to maintain such leads. "This team can go as far as it wants to go," Sensabaugh said.
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Dalvin Cook was in the midst of a breakout rookie campaign when he went down with a season-ending ACL tear in Week 4. He was among the league leaders in rushing yards (354) and had one of the heaviest workloads among all running backs. It led John Stockton Youth jersey to him breaking several of Adrian Peterson's records, including yards in his rookie debut and the amount he racked up in his first three games.
Today, Cook is focused on reaching smaller milestones as he recovers from the surgery performed by orthopedic specialist Dr. James Andrews in October to repair his injured left knee. Cook spoke to the media for the first time Thursday since he went down against Detroit. Having never dealt with a knee injury in the past, Cook wasn’t sure about the sensation he felt after cutting to avoid a defender in the fourth quarter of that game.
“It was kind of a funny feeling,” Cook said. “I knew something was wrong, but it just wasn’t hurting. I kept telling the trainer, ‘I’m good. Ain’t nothing wrong with me.’ But the next day it got stiffed up. I knew something was wrong and we took care of it.”
Cook says he’ll soon be at the point where he can set goals for himself, like a target date to start testing the strength of his leg, when he’ll be able to go through a full workout, etc. Right now, his benchmarks are simpler, like getting rid of his crutches last week and getting back into the weight room. “I was kind of dead [after lifting], but at the end you feel great,” he said. “I’m around these guys. I feel like I’m back into it, like I never left.”
Cook’s locker is situated next to Teddy Bridgewater's. The fellow Miami native endured over 14 months of rehabilitation from a dislocated knee to get back on the practice field last month. The support he’s provided the young rookie has helped him through the ups and downs of his recovery.
“The process here will challenge your manhood,” Cook said. “Teddy used to call me every day when I had my surgery down in Pensacola.
“He’s been through it. Just to have him in your corner when you’re going through Authentic Malcolm Butler Jersey tough times like this. [Even] if he didn’t go through it, he still knows the right stuff to say to you to get you through the whole process.”
In choosing to do his rehabilitation in Minnesota, Cook has been able to spend time around Sam Bradford, who was moved to IR last week with a knee injury, and see a different side to the reserved quarterback.
