    • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "FanPulse: Redskins fans see biggest jump in confidence after Week 1" 12.04.2018

Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL Youth Josh Doctson Jersey , powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Redskins fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse. How confident are you in the direction of the team? Last week: 76 percent confidenceThis can’t be surprising to anyone...leaguewide, really. By many metrics we have seen this week, the Redskins played one of the most solid games—if not THE most solid game—of football seen in week one. I know I was feeling pretty confident last week already, and that performance against Arizona sent me a notch higher. I am extremely impressed with the 0% of fans that are “not confident.” We are a decisive bunch! Will the Redskins win or lose in Week 2?Odds: Redskins are 6-point favoritesHogs Haven FanPulse: Redskins by 9Stampede Blue FanPulse: Colts by 2Ummmmmmm...my math says that is an 11-point spread between fanbases. Hahaha...Vegas would love us. The Colts fans are a solid eight points more optimistic than the oddsmakers, while Redskins fans are just feeling about a field goal better than sportsbooks. Opponents matter in this discussion. The Bengals are now 2-0, having toppled both Indianapolis and Baltimore (last night). The Redskins beat down a Cardinals team that not many people have a lot of faith in (I wonder what their fan confidence number is this week). I eagerly await the week where these values converge.Other than QB, what is most valuable to an NFL offense? Tight end? I mean, I get that the elite tight ends take over games, but 5% of you voted tight end over...any of the other choices? I went left tackle here, while 40% split your vote between running back and wide receiver. It is certainly the case in the league today where a running back or wide receiver on a given team might be more valuable to that team than its left tackle, but that team is not the Redskins. It appears this result is leaguewide, so I am confident that Redskins fans were pretty unanimous on this one. I wanted to take a moment this morning to remember our friend Rich Tandler Youth Quinton Dunbar Jersey , who most all of you know by now passed away suddenly Tuesday at the age of 63. • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "Five storylines for Ravens vs. Bengals" 12.04.2018

Week 2 matchup The Baltimore Ravens are set to face the Cincinnati Bengals to kick off week two of the NFL season. In the John Harbaugh era Womens Brandon Williams Jersey , Baltimore has struggled at Paul Brown Stadium as they are 3-7. The all-time series is tied at 22-22. Below are five storylines to watch for during the first Thursday night football game of the 2018 regular season. 1. ‘January Joe’ or ‘Joe Fluke-O’Fox Sports 1’s Skip Bayless has given Joe Flacco the nickname ‘Joe Fluke-O’ because of how inconsistent of a quarterback he can be. Flacco’s career has been littered with impressive performances such as his five-touchdown game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, or the impressive playoff run that led to him winning the Super Bowl MVP, but he has also had several historically bad games. Flacco’s 0.8 QBR against the Jaguars in London last season was one of the worst recorded performances in the history of the QBR stat. With Flacco at quarterback, it is hard to predict what kind of production the Ravens will be getting. However, Flacco was at his best in the Ravens’ dominant win over Bills last week. Not only was he deadly accurate, but he made great decisions with the football. He did not throw an interception, and his three touchdown passes were all perfectly placed. Coming off of one his most impressive performances in recent memory, how will Flacco perform in a hostile environment?2. Against a significantly better front seven, how will Baltimore’s offensive line hold up?One of the most significant factors in deciding whether or not the Ravens will snap their playoff drought will be the play of their offensive line. Against Buffalo, this unit was serviceable, but Ronnie Stanley, Matt Skura, and James Hurst all struggled at times. Cincinnati’s defensive line is much more talented than the Bills’, which sparks the question of how will this group respond? The Ravens utilized several quick passing concepts in week one Authentic Patrick Onwuasor Jersey , and the gameplan will likely be similar versus the Bengals.3. Will WR A.J. Green feast with no Jimmy Smith?Wide receiver A.J. Green has made several highlight-worthy and game-winning catches against the Ravens over the course of his career. He has seemingly haunted Baltimore since joining Cincinnati, and without Jimmy Smith, can Brandon Carr, and Marlon Humphrey contain him? Baltimore will likely not play a ton of man-to-man coverage, specifically against Green, but containing Green must be priority number one. 4. Can the Ravens contain RB Joe Mixon?Mixon had a breakout game against the Indianapolis Colts in week one, in which he totaled 95 rushing yards and a touchdown, while also adding five receptions for 54 yards. He was a driving force in their 34-23 win, and the Bengals used him in many different ways. They made it a point to get him the football, and he made plays. Baltimore contained LeSean McCoy last week, but against a better offensive line, can they limit another talented running back?5. Was last week an outlier, or did the Raven fix their tight end issues?Charles Clay is one of the league’s most underrated tight ends, but Baltimore held him to zero catches on Sunday. In week 2 Authentic Alex Collins Jersey , the Ravens face a pair of talented tight ends in Tyler Eifert and Tyler Kroft, but will the results be the same? Last season, the Ravens’ Achilles heel was matching up against opposing tight ends, but was week one an outlier, or an indication that they have fixed this issue? Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs had scored touchdowns in the NFL before Sunday’s game against the Raiders, but it had been a long time since he’d hit the end zone with a ball in his hands.Suggs last scored in 2008 before he scooped up a fumble caused by Matthew Judon on a sack of Derek Carr and returned it 43 yards for a touchdown. The 36-year-old was struck by how much more the play took out of him than it did in his younger days.“It seemed like it took me forever to get there,” Suggs said, via the team’s website. “In high school, I could do it over and over. After that one, I was kind of gassed.”Suggs got razzed by his teammates for his lax ball security while running with the ball and the veteran considered tossing it to cornerback Jimmy Smith before just handling things himself. That worked out well for Suggs and the Ravens, who had not forced a turnover since Week Seven and used this one to help swing the game in their direction.

    • Panthers wide receiver Devin Funchess Womens Ian Thomas Jersey , according to Kimberly Jones of the NFL Network.Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was trying to fit a pass into Funchess between three Giants defenders. Funchess was bracketed by Michael Thomas, Janoris Jenkins and Collins, who was retreated toward the pass and lunging in an interception attempt when he collided with Funchess.Per Jones, the fact that Collins was trying to play the ball and the contact with Funchess was incidental meant that no penalty should have been called for the resulting collision.Collins’ shoulder hit Funchess in the side of the helmet and Funchess remained down after the play Youth Kawann Short Jersey , which was immediately flagged by officials on the play. The Panthers would have faced a fourth-and-13 at the Giants 44-yard line with 14:09 remaining and while holding onto a 20-16 lead.Instead, the Panthers scored on a 18-yard pass from Newton to Christian McCaffrey five plays later and pushed their lead up to 27-16.Carolina ultimately won the game on a 63-yard field goal from Graham Gano as time expired. Nerves were frayed in Philly when quarterback Carson Wentz appeared on the Wednesday injury report as limited in practice. But the final report for the week has been filed, and Wentz has no official designation of questionable, doubtful http://www.panthersfootballauthentic.com/mario-addison-jersey-authentic , or out.Which means he’s definitely in, and that he’s good to go for Sunday’s showdown with the Panthers.Wentz was listed as fully participating in practice on Thursday and Friday due to the back injury. The absence of a complete exit from the report means that Wentz likely is receiving treatment for some sort of back problem, so it makes sense to pay attention to whether any type of aggravation of the situation occurs on Sunday. It generally makes sense to pay attention to Wentz, given that his playing style hasn’t changed at all in the wake of last year’s torn ACL. Whether he’s regarded as reckless or fearless or clueless about the link between taking hits and getting hurt Womens Donte Jackson Jersey , Wentz’s game relies heavily on his willingness to incorporate mobility, which often entails absorbing contact. This doesn’t mean he should never leave the pocket or cross the line of scrimmage. The challenge for every mobile quarterback, however, becomes understanding when and where and how to avoid unnecessary contact http://www.panthersfootballauthentic.com/jarius-wright-jersey-authentic , from sliding too late (or not at all) to stupidly cutting back at the sideline to deliver a hit (Garoppolo style) to everything in between.

    • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "With Ryan Tannehill throwing" 12.04.2018

again Youth Minkah Fitzpatrick Jersey , Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase is not about to give up on the season.Tannehill has taken an encouraging step in his recovery from a shoulder injury. It's undetermined whether he'll play this week against the New York Jets , but Gase believes the best is yet to come for the Dolphins (4-4), even though they've lost three of their past four games."Now it's about who wins the second half of the season," Gase said Monday.Because he believes the Dolphins remain in the playoff mix, Gase said it's "highly unlikely" they'll be sellers at this week's NFL trade deadline. There has been speculation they're shopping DeVante Parker, but Gase said he expects the injury-prone receiver to remain with Miami. As for Tannehill, progress is coming slowly. He has missed the past three games, including Thursday's 42-23 loss at Houston."He's making steps where he's in a position where he can throw a football," Gase said. "We're gaining strength in that area. We'll see more the next two days, when he does get a chance to throw, how sore he is the next day or how much power he feels like he has."Tannehill is expected to take part in the Dolphins' next practice Wednesday but may be limited Youth Mike Gesicki Jersey , as was the case last week. If Tannehill is ruled out against the Jets, Brock Osweiler will make his fourth consecutive start.Tannehill has a reputation for playing through pain, and Gase acknowledged a concern his quarterback won't be candid about how his shoulder feels."I told him, 'You have to be honest with me,'" Gase said." He understands if he gives me wrong information, that can make it worse. It's killing him, because he wants to do anything he can to help us. But at the same time we have to be smart. I don't want this to turn into, we try one week and get a huge setback, and it's worse than it was before."The Dolphins have lost their past two games with Osweiler starting, but defense was the primary culprit."We've got some things to fix," Gase said. "It hasn't really gone as we thought. We've got to make sure we get a lot of things corrected Womens Albert Wilson Jersey , make some adjustments, make sure we have the right guys on the field."A long weekend off gave the injury-plagued Dolphins time to mend. Along with Tannehill, receiver Kenny Stills (groin), tight end A.J. Derby (foot) and defensive end Charles Harris (calf) might return this week."I like where we're at right now," Gase said. "I like this group. I'd like to stay healthy from here on out — I don't think we have much more room for losing guys for the year. I think we've maxed out on that. But for the most part, I feel we have the right guys."2018 NFL Power Rankings: Tiers are forming Week 4 of the 2018 NFL season is complete, which means it is time to take a look at our Week 5 20218 NFL Power Rankings. As we reach the quarter mark of the season, we are starting to see teams settle into the rankings, as well as teams hitting their bye weeks already. That does not mean we are not seeing plenty of movement within the rankings, but it feels more like that movement is in tiers of teams, rather than a team jumping up or dropping substantially. Time to see what happened in Week 4 and where teams rank heading into Week 5. At the topThe Los Angeles Rams hold on to the top spot Womens Bobby McCain Jersey , while the Kansas City Chiefs move into the second position and the Jacksonville Jaguars move up to third. All six of the top teams this week won their games, with each, other than the Rams, moving up one spot as the New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, and New England Patriots hold the remaining slots. The Philadelphia Eagles dropped five positions to number seven, while the Carolina Panthers actually move up two positions despite being on a bye week. The Minnesota Vikings move down one spot to ninth after losing to the Rams, and the Los Angeles Chargers are up to positions to break into the top ten.Miami DolphinsMiami loses three positions this week after laying an egg on Sunday against the Patriots. It could be more of a drop, but the Patriots rank as high as they do, despite the slow three-game start to the season, because they are always capable of a win like that - especially when it is against Miami. This week against the Cincinnati Bengals will determine if Miami should be in the top 12 Womens Danny Amendola Jersey , or if they should fall a lot more.Biggest ClimbThe Oakland Raiders jump up five spots from 31st to 26th after their win over the Cleveland Browns. This puts them just a couple of spots behind the Browns in the rankings, which feels a little odd, but Cleveland has looked like a better team this year, so it should be okay in the long run.Biggest DropThe Eagles had the biggest drop, losing five as they went from two to seven this week. This is not so much as a sign of their play as it is a sign of everyone else around them winning. The Eagles should be among the elite teams in the league all year.At the bottomLike at the top where the six teams to start the rankings won, the bottom six teams in this week’s rankings all lost. The Arizona Cardinals are 0-4 on the season and in the cellar. The New York Jets are 31st, while the New York Giants are 30th - not a great time to be a fan of a team calling MetLife Stadium home. The Detroit Lions are 29th, while the Buffalo Bills fall three places to 28th and the Indianapolis Colts fall one spot to 27th. Indianapolis feels like the team - if they can put it all together - that has a chance to jump out of the bottom tier and make a run into the heart of the rankings.2018 NFL Power Rankings Week 7RankTeamLWResultsChangeRankTeamLWResultsChange

    • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Denver Broncos 27-14 in week three." 12.03.2018

After plummeting in the power rankings last week Authentic Brandon Williams Jersey , Baltimore is back on the rise. ESPN: 15The Ravens’ running game has without a doubt been their biggest flaw. However, the ground game improved in week three. Marty Mornhinweg made it a point to get Alex Collins more involved in the offense as he had 18 carries compared to 16 in the first two weeks.NFL.com: 16One of the reoccurring themes in Baltimore’s rankings this week is uncertainty. After three weeks, the Ravens have dominated a Bills and Broncos team, but they lost the Bengals on the road in horrible fashion. Baltimore lacks an identity.USA Today: 13As USA Today points out, one of the most surprising trends this season is Baltimore’s effectiveness in the red zone. After last season’s inconsistent showing Youth Alex Lewis Jersey , Mornhinweg has greatly improved in his play design inside the 20-yard line.Sporting News: 9Even without C.J. Mosley and Michael Pierce, Baltimore’s defense displayed their dominance in week three. Flacco’s performances have been far from perfect, but they have been effective. If he continues to make smart decisions with the football, the Ravens could be poised to be playing meaningful football in January. SB Nation: 15Despite beating the Broncos rather handily, the Ravens’ week two performance still looms large. Can they win on the road? With three straight road games upcoming http://www.ravensauthorizedshops.com/authentic-brent-urban-jersey , we will find out.Bleacher Report: 15The AFC North division winner may only have to reach the nine-win mark, and Baltimore can conceivably accomplish that feat.Yahoo: 10Although it is hard to call any week four matchup a must-win, Baltimore’s primetime matchup with the Steelers could go a long way in determining the division winner.Washington Post: 8Ravens claim CB Cyrus Jones, waive WR Tim White For the second time this season, the Baltimore Ravens have signed former second-round cornerback Cyrus Jones. It’s been quite the back-and-forth for Jones over the past six weeks. On Sept. 1 C.J. Mosley Jersey , the corner was waived by the New England Patriots. The next day, Sept. 2, the Ravens added him to the practice squad. Seventeen days after joining the Ravens practice squad, he is brought back to New England as an active player on the 53-man roster. On October 6, the Patriots waived Jones to open up a spot on their 53-man roster. This was unsurprising as the Patriots are suffering in the running back department with only two healthy running backs (James White & Sony Michel). The expectation is Mike Gilleslee Authentic Hayden Hurst Jersey , former Patriot, was cut by the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 6. This move brings back a player who knows the New England offensive system and can instantly play on game day.Update:The Ravens announce the corresponding move to acquire Cyrus was waiving WR/RS Tim White.

    • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "7 takeaways from the Ravens’ dominant 47-3 victory over the Bills" 11.09.2018

[Ravens fans: Sign up for FanPulse Youth Brandon Carr Jersey , our weekly Ravens survey]The Baltimore Ravens kicked off the 2018 season in dominant fashion, defeating the Buffalo Bills 47-3. Baltimore’s offense was efficient, while their defense was dominant. Joe Flacco’s impressive training camp and preseason translated into one of his best showings in recent memory. Below are seven takeaways from their resounding victory. 1. Kenny Young can be a three-down linebackerYoung looked impressive both in run defense and coverage. He recorded a sack late in the game, and his high football IQ was on full display. Young relied upon his instincts to make plays, which is something Kamalei Correa and Patrick Onwuasor struggle to do. With Correa in Tennessee and Peanut not improving in coverage, this should be Young’s job outright. 2. How long will Janarion Grant’s leash be?Head coach John Harbaugh’s proverbial doghouse is a place that no player should aspire to be in, but Grant may have put himself there with his careless fumble on a punt return. Luckily for the Ravens, Buffalo was unable to recover the fumble, as the ball went out of bounds. Grant also had a 51-yard return that set Baltimore’s offense up nicely, but with Cyrus Jones and Tim White sitting on the practice squad, Grant has little room for error.3. Another year, another group of defenders emergingSeemingly every year a couple of second or third-year defenders hit their stride for the Ravens, and this year looks to be no different. Chris Wormley had an impressive bull rush against center Ryan Groy that generated pressure, and he also deflected a ball at the line of scrimmage. Fellow 2017 draft pick, Tim Williams, also had an impressive performance, continuing his strong preseason play with a quality Week 1 outing. He recorded a sack and was consistently generating pressure from the edge.4. ‘January Joe’ came early, and he may be here to stayFor as inaccurate as he was during the 2017 season, Joe Flacco looked like a completely different quarterback against Buffalo. He was deadly accurate, while also looking down the field. Flacco’s mark of 6.9 yards per attempt is a considerable improvement from a year ago, and his ability to extend plays with his legs made this performance that much more inspiring. On another positive note, Flacco appeared to have changed plays at the line of scrimmage several times, which is not something that he has always done throughout his career.5. Do not call it a comeback Tony Jefferson had a miserable 2017 campaign that was plagued with poor showings in coverage and missed tackles. Last season was an adjustment for Jefferson Youth Za'Darius Smith Jersey , given that he was rarely asked to be a single-high safety in Arizona. He is tasked with having to play with more versatility for the Ravens, including being a single-high safety. His performance in Week 1 shows that the 2018 season may be a positive change of pace. Jefferson was excellent in coverage, as he ran stride for stride with a tight end down the sidelines on one play, and he also recorded an interception.6. Opening game shows Ozzie Newsome may have got it rightAfter Baltimore’s heartbreaking loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last season, Ozzie Newsome stated numerous times that he would rebuild the wide receiver room. He wanted to not only ‘change the faces,’ but acquire valuable contributors that could help Flacco bounce back. Newsome must have been smiling from his suite on Sunday as all three free agent wide receivers scored a touchdown. 7. Panic mode? The final stat line suggests the Ravens were successful running the football, but they did not find much success until the game was already decided. Alex Collins and Javorius Allen each scored a touchdown, but they combined for only 30 rushing yards off of 11 carries. Still, the more concerning aspect was the poor run blocking and Collins’ fumble. On a short week, it will be interesting to see how Baltimore’s running game bounces back against the Cincinnati Bengals.Q&A with Turf Show Times A couple of joint practices are not enough to understand the opponent for the Ravens tonight, therefore Turf Show Times managing editor Joe McAtee and I exchanged a few questions to better inform both fan-bases.1.) Who are Rams fans cheering for that is a dark-horse candidate to make the final 53-man roster?Sign of the apocalypse (though given how things are going these days, I think we’ve got plenty): Rams fans aren’t really worried about the 53-man roster since the starting roster is, well, really, really good. In normal years, we’d be looking at the roster battles as legitimate impacts on the Rams’ season. I don’t think that’s the case this year. So with that being said, there hasn’t been as much momentum behind the roster fringe battles. In other words, IT’S GREAT TO NOT BE BAD.That being said, there are a couple intriguing battles. The jobs to backup QB Jared Goff and RB Todd Gurley aren’t set in stone. And while backup QB Sean Mannion is in his fourth year, the rest of the QB depth chart is pretty new and the Rams drafted rookie RB John Kelly, so plenty to look for there. The WR depth chart is really interesting too. Steven Mitchell had a somewhat quiet career at USC, but improved in 2017. SoCal prospects always play well for Rams fans since relocating back to LA.Defensively, the Rams’ linebacking unit is wiiiiiiiiiiiiide open. Three starters from the OLB & MLB spots are gone in OLB Robert Quinn Womens Terrell Suggs Jersey , ILB Alec Ogletree and OLB Connor Barwin. So with promotions and new blood, there’s a ton for Rams fans to look at. If we’re looking for a true dark horse candidate, it might be the UDFA rookie out of Indiana, LB Tegray Scales. I’d throw rookie UDFA S Steven Parker in there too; he had a nice career at Oklahoma and could be the newest UDFA safety for the Rams in the mold of Rodney McLeod or Darian Stewart.2.) The Rams look like they’re going all-in for a championship this season. Is there any area they are weak at where Ravens fans should watch for?Well, yes, but I don’t know how much of the starting weaknesses we’ll see. I’m worried about the O-line holding up all year. They didn’t suffer an injury all year despite the advanced age of LT Andrew Whitworth and C John Sullivan. The Rams were perilously thin there last year, so they drafted three new linemen in Joseph Noteboom, Brian Allen and Jamil Demby. I think most Rams fans are eager to see all of them in action. And the aforementioned linebacker slots. The turnover alone means a lot of action for reserves from 2017 and new names. But it’s worth pointing out the QB depth chart since, compared to the Ravens’, it’s much, much weaker. It might prevent the wide receiver and tight end depth from being in position to make plays.3.) When the third-string units are on the field, who are the players to watch for on offense and defense?Offensive line jumps to the fore, but I’d also keep an eye on TE Temarrick Hemingway. He broke his leg in the preseason last year and missed all of 2017, so I’m sure he’s eager to get involved in the Sean McVay era.Defensively, there’s much more youth to work through. That being said, I’m unsure of the rotation. Fourth-round pick DL John Franklin-Myers is a small school prospect out of Stephen A. Austin. And while DL Sebastian Joseph-Day saw stronger competition at Rutgers, he came 60 picks later in the sixth round. Not sure how those guys line up or when. Fifth-round pick Micah Kiser was a tackle machine at Virginia. One other guy I’m interested in is DB Ramon Richards. The Rams have a ton of guys of that stature (<6’, <190 lbs.) ESPECIALLY compared to a secondary like yall’s. Clearly, there’s a role there that Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips covets. Richards did a bit of everything at Oklahoma State, so maybe he’s just got enough natural skills to compete at this level.

    • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "Post game stat review: the offense runs wild while the defense struggles" 11.09.2018

The Panthers’ second game of the season couldn’t have been more different than their first. In the season opener Authentic Kawann Short Jersey , a stifling defense shouldered the load while the offense did just enough. This week the offense did all it could to keep the team above water while the defense floundered. On a day where the defense was the main culprit in the loss, here were the biggest bright spots:Kawann Short and Julius Peppers each make their second appearance on this list in as many games. Short finished the day with 6 tackles and two tackles for loss while Peppers notched a single tackle. The 38 year old vet was on the field for just 30% of the defense’s snaps (19 total), which needs to change. Corn Elder and Captain Munnerlyn shut down Falcons slot receiver Mohamad Sanu, as Matt Ryan’s usual number two target was contained to just 19 yards on two catches. Elder was on the field for 20 snaps, his first as a pro. Hopefully the coaching staff recognizes his strong play and gives him more opportunities. Notably absent from the list of top Panthers defenders are linebackers Luke Kuechly and Shaq Thompson. Falcons running back Tevin Coleman gashed the Panthers for 107 yards on 16 carries, and Thomspon and Kuechly’s inability to navigate the Falcons zone blocking scheme played a major part in that. Shaq compounded his issues in the run game by giving up a touchdown to Falcons tight end Austin Hooper that gave Atlanta the lead heading into the half. The 7.4 yards per play allowed to the Falcons was the 7th highest mark allowed by the Panthers in the Ron Rivera era, and the worst since the team’s 40-7 defeat at the hands of the Seahawks in the infamous tie-gate game in December 2016. While the defense was doing everything wrong, the offense tried to make a game of it. Cam Newton returns as the only player to rank in the top 5 each week, which comes as a surprise to no one. Newton tallied 335 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air with a good-quarterback-worthy 71.1% completion percentage and an interception that really belongs on C.J. Anderson’s stat sheet. His most reliable receiving targets also made the list. McCaffrey snared all 14 of his genuine targets (the other being a throwaway) and turned them into 102 yards against a Falcons defense that was stifling the Panthers outside threats at wide receiver. And he averaged 4.6 yards per tote on 8 carries to boot. Wright snagged 5 passes of his own, all of which picked up either a first down or a touchdown. Rookie D.J. Moore did the same thing Youth Mario Addison Jersey , albeit on a single catch during his 17 snaps. Apparently taking your first career target 51 yards for a touchdown can catch the eye of a coaching staff, as Ron Rivera has already come out and said he wants to see more Moore. Through two weeks, the Panthers sit 15th in total offense and 13th in total defense, the average of two polar opposite performances. Next week’s game against the Bengals will paint a clearer picture of the true identity of this team heading into the week 4 bye.Panthers vs Giants fantasy football start/sit advice I bucket my advice using tiers. There is the ‘Must Start’ which either (1) an elite player you drafted early that you play every week or (2) a player with a match-up to juicy to pass by. In some cases you may have an even better option to play so in that case adjust appropriately. The second tier is players you drafted high but may not have great match-ups and you got nothing better on the bench or via waiver. I then list the players you should not start that you might consider at some point this season. I’ll then cap it with any potential sleepers in this match-up.So let’s get to it.Must StartWR Odell Beckham, QB Cam Newton, RB Saquon Barkley, RB Christian McCaffreyThese should be pretty safe starts all around. I would love to say Barkley will disappoint against the Panthers run defense but his ability to hit a crease and take it a distance is something we’ve seen other running backs do already this season. Announcement I would first like to apologize for the delay in getting the results up for everyone and we still have more voting to go which has also been delayed as life continues to get in the way. Also my AirBNB did not have nearly the solid internet that I needed to post consistently. So after that info that no one probably cares about we get onto our announcements. This years class is a list of people that all deserve to be inducted and there were many others that missed the cut that would also have been equally deserving but there is next year and hopefully we can get these up earlier in the year so that some other well deserving site members get their names for ever enshrined. That leaves 39-year old Josh McCown, who is one of the most under appreciated veterans in the league, as Darnold’s backup going into the season. The Jets signed Bridgewater to a one-year $6 million contract earlier this offseason with a $1 million signing bonus. Through training camp and the first portion of the preseason, Bridgewater shone as one of the steadiest quarterbacks league-wide despite returning from a gruesome knee injury that sidelined him for the majority of two seasons. It appears he showed enough to give those in the Saints front office and coaching staff enough confidence to believe he will be a top tier backup and possible heir apparent to Drew Brees in the coming years.Meanwhile Womens Kiko Alonso Jersey , just a month after signing Bridgewater, the Jets drafted Darnold when he fell to the third-overall selection in this year’s draft. Touted as one of the best QBs in a very strong draft class, Darnold has shown the ability to make a splash this season. While he’ll certainly have growing pains, his play through three preseason games indicates that he can be the team’s quarterback of the future. Through those contests Womens Bobby McCain Jersey , Darnold has completed 29 of 45 passes (64.4%) for 244 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Those numbers may not jump off the page, but they’ve satisfied the Jets top brass enough to throw Darnold into the fire straight away.To learn more about this story http://www.miamidolphinsteamonline.com/t.j.-mcdonald-jersey , visit GangGreenNation.com

    • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "Curtis Martin took and dished out plenty of helmet" 11.09.2018

hits as he rushed for more than 14 Cheap Preston Smith Jersey ,000 yards in his Hall of Fame career. He just wishes he didn't have to endure that. The retired running back sees the NFL's enhanced rule penalizing players for leading with their helmets as a positive step for the sport. As a member of the player safety advisory panel, he's part of a leaguewide effort to educate the current generation on how to stay on the right side of the rule and reduce injuries."Hopefully we can extend careers and just have less contact to the head, which I just think is beneficial over a long period of time," Martin said by phone this week. "We're really focusing on getting the head (contact) out of the game. I wish it was like that when I was playing. I think it's something that's very positive, and I think it's important as we go forward and the future of the game."Martin and former linebackers Willie Lanier , also a Hall of Famer, and Willie McGinest taped minute-long "NFL Way to Play" instructional videos for players stressing stance, posture and technique. For specific examples of head-contact hits that are now 15-yard penalties or possibly ejections, there are situation-specific videos narrated by coaches Anthony Lynn of the Chargers (ball carriers ), Doug Marrone of the Jaguars (offensive linemen ), Dan Quinn of the Falcons (defensive linemen ), Mike Vrabel of the Titans (linebackers ), and Todd Bowles of the Jets (defensive backs )."I just had some things I wanted to try to share being a former player and having played that technique and coached that technique," Vrabel said. "It's what's best for the game, the fundamentals. We always try to teach the fundamentals that are good: playing with your knees bent Cheap Ryan Kerrigan Jersey , leading with your hands and playing with your face up."After watching those videos, Redskins coach Jay Gruden said making sure players don't use their helmets as weapons is "a big thing we're trying to get over." That's the NFL's emphasis: a helmet is for protection and not to be used as a projectile."You don't necessarily want to hurt anyone," Martin said. "As an offensive player, a lot of times, especially when you see those times when a player or whoever's carrying the ball they're very close to the sidelines, but before they go out, they decide they just want to punish that (defensive back). That's where you see the helmet used as a weapon, and you want to cut things like that out of the game because it's unnecessary, No. 1, and it just protects the players better."Bowles, who played defensive back for eight NFL seasons, illustrated in his video many of the shoulder-to-shoulder hits that are legal and expected. He contrasted them with some players who made helmet-to-helmet contact. Because the enhanced rule now makes helmet-to-anywhere contact a penalty, he knows it's on coaches to give players a refresher on the proper way to tackle."It's really teaching football to be played the right way," Bowles said. "There are going to be hard collisions, but if the helmet's up Cheap Jordan Reed Jersey , and you have to keep the helmet out of the way and hit with the shoulder, which most of the teams do all the time. There's an occasional head-to-head when someone's putting their head down, but we don't teach it any differently."Martin fully understands the football mentality of pushing for the extra yard and going for the big hit, so he figures it'll take time for players to adjust. It's his hope the culture change toward understanding head injuries helps players accept the updated rule for their own good."As former players, we can sit back and see how this rule would've been very effective for us when we were playing," Martin said. "But when you're in the midst of something, it's like anything — when you're in the midst of a problem, it's hard to see the benefits of (fixing) that problem or the outcome or the potential positive things that can come out of that problem. Now that we're on the other side, we can see that maybe a little clearer than current players can and as we're able to inform them and teach, I think that they'll come around."AP Pro Football Writers Teresa M. Walker and Dennis Waszak Jr. contributed. Jordan Reed has two fewer bones and a whole lot of peace of mind.Toe soreness in offseason workouts more than a year ago became lingering pain that threw off everything for the Washington Redskins tight end. Overcompensation led to a hamstring injury that kept Reed off the field, and he never felt like himself even when he was able to play.So Reed went under the knife twice to have a sesamoid bone in each big toe removed. Reed now feels "100 times better" and hopes his toe injuries are a thing of the past so he can get back to his form of 2015, when he had 87 catches for 952 yards and 11 touchdowns."It's definitely a relief," Reed said Friday. "Just having that nagging pain for two years was awful and now it's gone, so it's just a lot better."Reed said toe fractures gave him little choice but to have the surgeries, one on his left foot in December and the other on the right in February. They've so far worked out far better than his decision to get a stem-cell injection in the summer of 2017 that aggravated his toe problem so much he couldn't walk. That self-described "poor decision" completely derailed Reed's season Cheap Brandon Scherff Jersey , limiting him to 27 catches in six games. He tried orthotics in his shoes to ease the pain, but nothing worked, leading to an operation that's more common for dancers and exceedingly rare for the general public."That's usually kind of like the last stop on the train," said Mark Drakos, a foot and ankle surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. "They're very little bones. They're about the size of like a Peanut M&M, so they're very, very small. Most bones, if they break or they don't heal, we'll go in and fix them with plates and screws of if you break your ankle, we put it back together. These are so small that a lot of times we just take it out because it's quicker. It's a quicker recovery."Reed is well past the usual eight-to-12-week recovery period and has looked sharp in individual and team drills early in camp. Just having him on the field again is a plus for the Redskins, who need the 28-year-old to create matchup problems for opposing defenses."He is a unique guy at the tight end position that can do so many things: route-running with the ball in his hands after the catch," new quarterback Alex Smith said. "He is oftentimes the guy that it doesn't really matter who's lined up against him — linebacker, safety, corner. He is a guy that I think has the skill set to win against all these positions."Coach Jay Gruden, who early in camp a year ago didn't think Reed's toe injury would be a long-term concern Womens Jamison Crowder Jersey , is hopeful now because, as he put it, "I have to be.""I think he's one of the top tight ends in the National Football League when healthy," Gruden said. "Last year, he tried to fight through a couple of those injuries in the offseason. He got them fixed, so hopefully we'll put an end to all those foot and toe injury things and ankle. Jordan, he feels great right now, very optimistic about the way his body feels and now it's our job to make sure we just progress him along at a good rate."Gruden hopes to get Reed into a preseason game or two and have him 100 percent for the season opener against Arizona. On a team with a handful of players working back from injuries, Reed is taking a conservative approach as he balances restraint with the excitement of what he could do when finally healthy again."Still working through that with the coaches and taking it slow," he said. "I'm just getting my body built back up. ... I'm confident moving forward."NOTES: Second-year LB Ryan Anderson left practice with back spasms and he's considered day-to-day. A team spokesman said RB Rob Kelley's departure was heat-related. ... LB Zach Brown was a limited participant in team drills a day after straining the quadriceps muscle in his left thigh. ... The team's afternoon walkthrough was cut short by lightning. Everything comes around full circle.4th down conversion:Preseason:Alex Smith PresserPerformance tonight:Run game:Adrian Peterson:Week 1:Comfort with wide receivers:Jonathan AllenDJ SwearingerReviewing Jay Gruden’s comments for insight into the cornerback position battle following Scandrick’s release On Tuesday, the release of Orlando Scandrick brought a lot of clarity to the expected regular season depth chart at cornerback http://www.washingtonredskinsteamonline.com/chase-roullier-jersey , but there probably isn’t room on the regular season roster to keep every young player that’s having a good training camp.To figure out exactly which CBs are most likely to still be on the team when they line upto play the Cardinals in September, we will examine Jay Gruden’s press conference comments from Tuesday.General comments about the young CBs on the roster:What am I taking away from this?I get the sense that Gruden is talking about five guys who are all making the roster. We know that Josh Norman is gonna start on one side of the field.Jay’s comments tell me that Dunbar will be starting on the other boundary. He talks about the ‘emergence’ (a significant and positive word when Jay Gruden uses it) of Danny Johnson and Fabian Moreau at nickel.I don’t think there’s enough in this comment to say which player is behind the other on the depth chart, though the fact that Moreau is a 2nd year player from last year’s draft, and Johnson is an undrafted rookie may give some hint about the depth chart — at least for the start of the season. He identifies the two Virginia Tech rookie DBs — Stroman (‘18 7th round pick used)and Adonis Alexander (‘19 6th round pick used) — as the other young studs; presumably, the backup boundary corners.Lest there’s any confusion about who’s ahead of whom there, Jay had comments about the player taken in the Supplemental Draft last month. That’s press conference gold right there... Jay specifically identified Alexander as the “sixth” corner, which means he sees five guys ahead of Adonis: Norman, Dunbar, Moreau, Johnson and Stroman. That’s pretty strong confirmation of the expected depth chart.Jay makes it clear that Alexander is not really going to be ready to play defensive snaps at the start of the season, which might open the door a crack for a seventh CB.Jay, in the press conference, reiterated his praise for the rookies, but his slight change of wording helps identify who seems to be the leading slot corner, and then tosses in one more name:Jay Authentic Alex Smith Jersey , this time, focuses on Moreau as the “inside” player.I may be reading too much into this, but I’m thinking that Danny Johnson is showing up as a bit more of an all-purpose player who can backup the boundary or the slot, despite his small size (he’s listed at 5’9”, 181 pounds).Johnson ran a 4.44 40-yard dash at the Combine, giving him the speed to work inside in nickle, and perhaps to run on the boundary with speedy deep-threat receivers as well. With Moreau (6’0”, 205 lbs) playing the slot most of the time, the Redskins will have the flexibility to mix up coverages by swapping playing both Moreau and Johnson in the slot to challenge offensive scheming, and to have Johnson available for boundary duty if needed.Jay Gruden kinda throws Ranthony Texada’s name out there as an afterthought, and the adjective he uses is “good” (rather than something more glowing).Usually, this would make me think Texada was on his way to the practice squad, but there are two things that make me think that Texada still has a shot at the final 53.The first reason is that Adonis Alexander probably won’t be up-to-speed to start the season, but almost certainly needs to be kept on the roster to protect him from being picked up on waivers without making it to the Redskins practice squad. That would leave a young CB group desperately thin. The coaches may opt for a 7th CB, at least to open the season. The second reason for thinking Texada has a shot is that Jay mentioned him one more time:This time Jay is lumping Texada in with Johnson Authentic D.J. Swearinger Jersey , and the praise is — by Jay’s press conference standards — fairly effusive. He said this in the context that the surprisingly good play by these rookies forced or allowed the coaches to cut Orlando Scandrick. All of a sudden, I’m thinking that the coaching staff might start the season with 7 cornerbacks — especially since both Johnson and Stroman have punt return skills, which is significant for a Redskins coaching staff looking to improve special teams in general, and the punt return depth in particular. What would the CB depth look like if all my thoughts turned into reality?Keeping seven CBs would mean that the Redskins would have to make a cut somewhere else on the roster, and frankly, Texada would easily survive being waived and put onto the practice squad. But if the ‘Skins don’t think they can rely on Alexander to play early in the season, they may make the decision to hold onto the extra CB until the rookies get a bit of regular season experience and the coaches become confident about whom they can rely on.Let’s look at a few more Jay Gruden comments:Fabian MoreauI hear both excitement and concern in Jay Gruden’s voice here.He clearly is high on Moreau, but also doesn’t think Fabian’s ready for prime time... the player needs more work, more repetitions in practice, more snaps in the preseason.Moreau is a second-year player, but because he was injured at the time he was drafted, he got limited preseason work last year, and played mostly special teams in 2017.He needs a heavy dose of seasoning if he’s gonna play a significant number of snaps on defense in 2018.Look for Fabian to be on the field a lot against the Jets and Broncos.Danny JohnsonWhat I’m hearing is that this UDFA has impressed in camp; he’s showing skills, but when Jay uses the word “competitive” like this, in combination with a phrase like “solid all the way round” Authentic Montae Nicholson Jersey , it’s a signal that Jay is hedging his praise slightly, especially when Jay goes on to emphasize the player’s special teams ability.Jay is signalling that the coaches like Danny Johnson, but he clearly a backup — not competing for a starting role.PossibilitiesJay lacks guile, so he sometimes struggles when he prevaricates. In a single sentence, he talks about two different scenarios:i. We’ll go with what we have — right nowii. We’ll probably sign another CB — shortlyAnd — oh, by the way — if we need to, we have time to make a move.I’m hearing Jay say that he wants very much to believe that Josh Norman, Quinton Dunbar, Fabian Moreau and 3 or 4 rookies will be able to handle the cornerback position — but Jay isn’t really sure. He’s keeping all his options open. We’re gonna stand pat.For now.But we will probably bring someone else in.Shortly.But we like what we have. But if it doen’t work out, we can still make changes.I suspect they have DRC on speed dial.No matter how much ‘confidence’ Jay expressed in these players on Tuesday, I think the thought of relying on 3 or more rookies to fill out the cornerback depth chart is keeping Jay awake at night.Josh HolseyThe Redskins seem to be going out of their way not to give any details on Holsey or make any comments that commit to a course of action with him. It’s preseason, so the Redskins aren’t required to disclose injury details (note how bothered Todd Bowles was this week that Terrelle Pryor talked to the press about breaking his ankle). It sounds like Holsey may be out there and available in the second half of the season if needed, the same way that I have a packet of fairy dust that can get me out of trouble if I really need it.I’ll be surprised if Holsey sees an NFL field in 2018 regular season or playoffs.

    • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "Where Were You When Sean Taylor Led the Redskins to Victory Against Dallas?" 11.01.2018

This week at SB Nation Washington Redskins Hats , we are talking about great moments in our team’s history that were so amazing that you remember where you were and what you were doing when they happened. For Redskins fans, this is somewhat difficult. I mean, I could go all the way back and talk about “4th and 1” or Darryl Grant running a tipped ball into the end zone, but I wanted something more recent. I could go negative with a memory we can’t get out of our minds like the double timeout or game-winners caught over Reed Doughty (whom I love). No, today I am asking you about one of the more improbably wins we have ever witnessed in this more modern age of Redskins fandom. It was an early November game in 2006, and the Dallas Cowboys were in town to collect a win that everyone seemed to think was theirs without the game even being played. I was in my seat at FedEx enjoying an awesome weather day—sunny and cool, making for an epic November tailgate.Bill Parcells had led the Cowboys to the edge of victory despite all of his carefully calculated errors—Dallas gave up a safety in their first drive, and missed a 2-point conversion that people argued over whether he should have attempted. It was Tony Romo’s second start and he had played halfway decently, certainly well enough for Dallas to leave Washington with a 5-3 record instead of a 4-4 record. With 31 seconds to go and the game tied 19-19, Nick Novak (local Maryland product) came out to attempt a game-winner from 49 yards out. The miss left the stadium gutted, as we desperately wanted to beat our rival, but the Skins were also in the midst of a three-game losing streak. When the Washington special teams unit left the field, we weren’t feeling very optimistic, but the stadium stayed uncharacteristically full in the closing seconds of a tied game. Tony Romo managed to get the Cowboys into position for them to try a game-winner and none other than Mike Vanderjagt trotted out for the 35-yarder with SIX seconds left. Vanderjagt was money at that point and was 5-for-5 on fourth quarter attempts that season. Recently signed Troy Vincent got around the corner and blocked the kick, which sent the crowd into a frenzy as the ball kind of jumped around in the backfield. Seemingly out of NOWHERE, Sean Taylor becomes the guy closest to the ball, scoops it up and starts running like he is playing in abackyard game. I mean Washington Redskins Hoodie , he is fast enough to beat pretty much everyone down the field, but what I remember was that he seemed to face contact right away as he picked up the ball. He weaved more than he bee-lined, and it felt like he had guys trying to tackle him the whole way. One of those guy was Dallas’ Kyle Kosier who made the play memorialized in today’s lead image. The facemark pull was seen by everyone in the stadium and there was an audible response to it happening, even though Sean wasn’t quite tackled yet. His return was ultimately not good enough to end the game, but the yellow flag was making us all nuts.As the referees conferred, I was doing the math: the 15-yard penalty was going to set up what could be a 47-yard attempt for Nick Novak. Only problem was...there was no time left on the clock. All you could hear at FedEx in that moment was, “THE GAME CAN’T END ON A DEFENSIVE PENALTY!!!!”We at least knew that. Hahah. The referee announced that there would be one more play, untimed. You would have thought FedEx was the site of the Super Bowl. Nick Novak goes back onto the field and squeaks one through...really just narrowly tucking the ball inside the goalpost. He turned and ran all the way down the field, getting caught and tackled by the entire Redskins bench. we in the stands couldn’t control ourselves. We didn’t get to see many wins period, much less wins over a team we despised. It was an absolutely amazing feeling that I won’t ever forget, and though Nick Novak got crazy love, it was quintessential Sean Taylor magic that we all witnessed. He did what he always did—he got to the ball. When he got there, he scooped it at full speed. After he had the ball, he actually turned and ran in the opposite direction for a second, kind of picking his lane to turn and charge before violently making his way down the field. He was the kind of football player that you paid whatever the ticket cost to see him. If he was going to be on the field, you were going to see something special. On this day, what we saw was a win stolen from the Cowboys by a team that probably shouldn’t have been able to do that.Where were you?Colt McCoy’s contract extension We heard about it first on TwitterHogs Haven immediately posted an article that generated over 200 comments. There was a clear split in the fan base between those who were outraged at the idea of an extension for McCoy and the price tag attached Customized Washington Redskins Jerseys , and those who wanted to “wait and see” what the details of the contract would be.Twitter reporting of contractsTypically, early news about extensions leaks from the player’s agent.Experience tells me that when the terms are favorable for the player, we tend to get pretty clear details about the contract almost right away — after all, the agent who is giving the scoop to the journalist wants credit for putting together a good deal for his client.Red flagsWhen we hear only “headline numbers” like total contract value and number of years in early reports, followed by a lot of silence about the details, this is typically a ‘red flag’ to me that the contract is probably very team-friendly. It’ll probably take a week or so to find out the contract details, and they won’t be published in a detailed article and trumpeted on Twitter; instead, the details will be quietly posted on OverTheCap and Spotrac, where only a small number of fans who follow contracts closely will likely take notice. The initial reports about the Colt McCoy extension all used the same language — that the deal was “worth up to $7m”.That use of the words ‘worth up to’ is usually the second red flag that the deal isn’t likely to be as lucrative for the player as the initial ‘headline numbers’ suggest. In an effort to keep the fan base from open revolt, someone gave a little bit of information to the press.John Keim’s initial article stated that “There are void and buyback provisions in the deal, which could still make McCoy a free agent after this season.”Keim went on to point out that Colt McCoy’s current contract, which had been signed in 2016, had a clause in which the final year -- 2018 -- could void the rest of the contract if he played 65 percent of the offensive snaps. This was to give McCoy the opportunity to sign a new contract or enter free agency if he had a Nick Foles-type season where he took over the starting job and did well.Keim seemed to be implying that chances were pretty good that the special provisions in the new extension would offer something similar to McCoy while limiting the Redskins salary cap exposure if he didn’t end up having to do much more than hold a clipboard for the next two seasons. This isn’t the first time this has happened this yearUntil we hear the details of a contract however, there’s a certain amount of panic mixed with outrage that the fan base will experience when Twitter announces the headline numbers leaked by a player’s agent. Remember the freaking out among the fan base when we saw the early Tweets for the Orlando Scandrick deal?Eventually, the details were posted on OverTheCap, and Hogs Haven posted an article titled, Report: Scandrick contract has only $1m guaranteed; $2.6m against Redskins 2018 cap to review the details. Here’s what that article said:This was a far cry from the $10m headline number that Mike Garafolo put out on Twitter on March 20th www.washingtonredskinsteamonline.com , and a collective sigh of relief was heard around Redskins nation when it became obvious that this was a short-term rental of an experienced CB who could help smooth over the dual-loss of Breeland and Fuller, and offer some insurance against the possibility that the team didn’t get the expected development out of Dunbar and Moreau, or if the team’s positional depth was tested by injury. It certainly wasn’t an ualterable $10m commitment to an aging and oft-injured former Cowboy defensive back. The Redskins got some low-risk insurance and Scandrick got an opportunity to extend his career.Interestingly, I have scoured Garafolo’s Twitter timeline, and I can’t find his later report with the details of the Scandrick contract.NOTE: I PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE POSTED THIS ARTICLE YESTERDAY, AS SCANDRICK WAS RELEASED BY THE REDSKINS THIS MORNING.You’re also not likely to get the details of the Colt McCoy extension from any national writers either, but — thanks to a Redskins blog and Spotrac — we’ve got the skinny for you here, today. The structure of the Colt McCoy extensionLast week, Burgundy Blog tweeted that the details of the Colt McCoy extension had been obtained:Spotrac published that information in the table format that is normal for salary info:Highlights:Cap hits of $3.6m and $3.5m in 2018 & 2019No guaranteed moneyThe only dead cap is $600K leftover from his last contractTotal value = $6.5m over 2 years + the $600K leftover from last contract = $7.1m cap hitAssuming that the Burgundy Blog and Spotrac reports (which are consistent with one another) are accurate, then this means that the outraged comments about the ‘Skins $7m per year, noodle-armed backup quarterback can probably come to an end.Based on these reports, Colt McCoy is a $3.55m per year, noodle-armed backup quarterback.Colt’s money for 2018 and 2019 — if he continues to function primarily as the Redskins quarterback — will be pretty consistent, and will result in a cap hit of about $3.55m per year.If Colt does more than a typical backup this season, then it could trigger a voiding provision in Colt’s contract to allow him to be a free agent in 2019.I haven’t seen a clear and unambiguous explanation of the voiding provisions, but we’ve seen some indications.John Keim:“McCoy had a clause in which the final year -- 2018 -- could void the rest of the contract if he played 65 percent of the offensive snaps.”Spotrac: “It voids for... 30% playing time + certain QBRor50% playing time + a playoff game.”The idea is that, if Colt plays a significant number of snaps and plays well (or in the playoffs) then he can get a Nick Foles-type situation as a reward; his contract can/will void Washington Redskins T-Shirt , allowing him to leverage his 2018 play into a lucrative contract for 2019 and beyond.Much like the Scandrick contract, this provides protection for the Redskins, who will shell out $3 to $3.5m per year for a player that Jay Gruden considers to be a reliable backup — a guy who played very well in the first preseason game against the Patriots, and who has played well enough in relief in prior years. But it also provides opportunity for Colt McCoy; if he has a season like Nick Foles with the Eagles or Case Keenum with the Vikings in 2017, then he has the opportunity to cash in on the open market in March next year.Comparable contractsOverTheCap hasn’t updated the McCoy contract yet — it’s possible that they’re waiting for some of the details, or they may just be slow — but this list of QBs from the OTC website, ranked by APY, shows who is being paid between $2m and $4m per year. There are still some significant contract details that don’t seem to have been openly published yet, but the main brush strokes have been reported by two well-known sites, and there’s enough information available to draw the reasonable conclusion that Colt McCoy’s contract extension is a market-rate deal, with protection for the team and upside potential for McCoy.Unless there’s something unreported that we haven’t seen yet, there doesn’t seem a lot of reason to freak out over this extension. It looks like Eric Schaffer is still on the job.

    • That means today we take a closer look at the slam drunk for the best center in team history Michael Palardy Jersey , number 67 Ryan Kalil.Ryan Kalil, CenterBioHeight: 6’2”Weight: 300 lbsAge: 33College: University of Southern CaliforniaNFL Experience: 12 yearsRyan Kalil is the greatest center in the history of the Carolina Panthers, and even potentially has a claim to being the best overall offensive lineman, though I think he’ll fall just a step shy of Jordan Gross in full reflection. All of that said Cheap Shaq Thompson Jersey , we are probably about to watch the final year of his career. Ryan Kalil is currently 33 years old and has had significant injuries the past couple of seasons, including neck problems which for a center is especially crippling.Even though physically he isn't the same player we saw earlier in his career physically, his experience can’t be undervalued, as intelligence and leadership are almost as important at the position as physical ability. The center gets all the linemen on the same page and works with the quarterback to adjust protections. Hopefully Tyler Lasen is studying hard http://www.pantherscheapshop.com/cheap-authentic-torrey-smith-jersey , and he did show some improvement in this area as the season went on last year.If this IS the last countdown piece we write about Ryan Kalil, we wish him the best, and a very happy retirement. • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "A Miami Dolphins Fan’s Perspective of being a part of NFL History" 11.01.2018

I’m sitting here trying to figure out how to sum up the home opening game of the Dolphins 2018 season in one article. The longest game in NFL history. Yes Cameron Wake Jersey , the Miami Dolphins made history. Of course they did, because it’s the Dolphins. It seems a season can’t go by without something causing the Dolphins to gain national attention. At least this time, it was something out of everyone’s control because of Mother Nature.I made the trip down for the game. I had not been back to Miami since Patriots game last December. I missed my second home. That being said, I was not expecting to spend almost 12 hours at said home (i.e. Hard Rock stadium). The good news is that I can now say that I am a part of NFL History. I’m mentally and physically exhausted, but I wouldn’t trade that experience for a second, even if I knew I would be at a seven hour game. To be honest, I woke up Monday morning looking around wondering if I was still at the stadium. Apparently, I wasn’t alone with those feelings. Ryan Tannehill tweeted out something similar stating he was wondering if we would be playing. Speaking of Ryan Tannehill, I’ll be honest and say I may have shed a tear or two when I watched our quarterback come running out of that tunnel on Sunday. Tannehill was back and it felt good Dolphins fans. Really good. All the suffering this fan base has been through the past year, just vanished away. It was a new energy I hadn’t felt in a while and it was exciting. Go ahead and admit it, who cheered out loud at their house, the bar, fan club, or even your car (if you were listening on the radio) when you saw him take the field? I hope you all did. I kinda hope Tannehill glanced over to the corner end zone, around section 135, and spotted a 6ft banner of the new Tannehill 2.0. Yep, that was me. I was holding it up, very briefly, right before our offense took the field for their first drive of the game.He may have seen it or not, but 2.0 will be back for more games this season. Now, let’s discuss the game a bit (from my perspective of being at the game). The thing about attending games is you don’t get a chance to see the game Authentic Laremy Tunsil Jersey , like you would if watching it on TV at home. Some plays happen so quickly, it can take a second to realize what just happened and you may find yourself asking wait, what happened? Who was that? Next thing you know you’re looking at the jumbotron waiting for replays while simultaneously cheering and high-fiving random fans. If you watch the games like I do, you get lost in the excitement and energy of the game and crowd. Can I recall when every play happened, especially with that game lasting seven hours, nope. But, hey, that’s what all of the other amazing writers like Kevin, Josh, Matt, etc. on The Phinsider are here for. I’m here to let you know about the parts of the game that stood out. Those plays that fans talked about during half-time or the never ending delay of game lightening breaks. You know, those ones that make you scream out loud, “Holy **** gooooo!” (those that made ya say goodbye to your voice too). Now, let’s get into the game. The first touchdown of Tannehill to Stills was what we fans had been waiting for. The first touchdown pass of the season. It was a beautiful 10-yrd pass to Stills. However, it wasn’t my ultimate favorite play of the game. Let’s go ahead and fast-forward to the post-almost four hour total game delay part of the game. The quarter where all the magic happened. Hello 4th quarter. My Favorites: Basically the 4th QuarterLet me set the scene for those of you who weren’t in attendance. We were tired. Exhausted. I had to go back through Twitter on Monday, to look up exactly when these plays happened because it all started to blur together. If you stuck it out at the stadium, it was rough. During the last game delay all the concession stands started closing. We were down to water fountains, if you were thirsty, and sitting waiting in our wet clothes while sitting on wet seats and staring at an empty field. My phone had long been dead at that point. I was relying on borrowing phones to check Twitter randomly. Nobody was telling us anything. We didn’t get any updates until the Dolphins posted them on the jumbotron. I’m still surprised so many of us stayed that long, but nobody was going to leave now after waiting that long. Trust me when I say, fans weren’t going down without a fight. The teams were tired too. The two 2-hour rain delays had all of us ready to see someone win this game. With that being said Youth Ryan Tannehill Jersey , there were two plays that get my favorite of the week. Let’s go ahead and just say, that 102-yd kick return for a touchdown by Jakeem Grant, was nothing but amazing. Let’s watch it again. My friends, that was the kind of play that gets everyone, no matter where you are watching the game, upand out of your seat, jumping and screaming as loud as possible. From my seats, he was running straight towards us and I basically had a front row view of it. Here is a brief clip from my friend, DolFan Bandit who sits in the same section as me.If you look to the right of the video you see an aqua/orange flag jumping up and down and a woman screaming. Yes, that would be me. We needed that to get that crowd going. I swear I don’t think we remained quiet the rest of the game. My throat still hurts today from that one play alone. Here is Grant after the game telling media he knew the team needed a spark. It worked. It worked for our team and all of us fans there who stuck it out.My second favorite play was the Kenny Stills 75-yd touchdown. This was his second longest career touchdown pass. Beautiful! All I know is that from our view, which was in the end zone Stills ran to, it looked like a perfect pass by Tannehill. You know, our quarterback who some fans/media claim has no deep ball accuracy. This pass right here, would not have happened if that was the case. I can’t wait to see more of those kind of touchdowns this season. Kenny Stills, we love you dude. You make many of us fans go, “Landry who?”. Just read the tweet below by Evan Silva.Thank you for being such a great player and for being a class act Stills. He, along with many other players, thanked all the fans for the support after the game. We thank all of you for the win. Of course, there were so many other players/plays to mention. I could write pages about my reaction to the game and to each play. It’s always hard to narrow it down to just a few. I do need to mention Reshad Jones and Minkah Fitzpatrick. If it wasn’t for those two, we probably would be discussing a different outcome. The 4th down stop on the Titans drive by Fitzpatrick was unbelievable. I swear, all these key plays happened right in front of me. Here is quick replay of that stop. Have I mentioned I really like my seats. Anyways http://www.dolphinsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-kenyan-drake-jersey , I think he may very well be the best player we acquired from the 2018 draft. He is just a rookie. This kid is going to be a beast. I. Can. Not. Wait. ***As much as I despise Alabama and Coach Saban, I think we can all say thank you for coaching Minkah so well. ***Reshad Jones could be called the player of the game. It’s hard to narrow it to one, but with his two interceptions (first ever multi-interception game) and combined 7 tackles, he may have very well earned it. But, this isn’t a surprise. He has always played like a beast. I agree with Houtz here. He may not be human. Here was his early 3rd quarter interception. I have no doubt that we’re going to see so much more like this throughout the season from Jones. Final ThoughtsWe won fans. The Dolphins are a part of NFL History. I am now a part of it too. I want to finish with this. The energy throughout that game, and then especially after the final lightning game break, was incredible. All us fans were jumping around and hugging complete strangers when the Dolphins scored. It did not matter your race, gender, or political stance. This is what I love about football. We all just want to watch our team win. We all bonded that night. I think our Miami Dolphins grew closer as a team from that game. Let me briefly mention the only ugly part from Sunday’s game. If you attend a home game, I hope you cheer loudly and proudly for your Dolphins team. Our players want the fans to make that stadium as loud as possible when we are on defense against the opposing team. If you aren’t the standing type, it’s cool. In fact, the person I brought with me preferred to sit more often than stand. Not a problem. That being said, if other Dolphins fans are cheering (respectively of course), let those fans cheer. I have personally witnessed Dolphins fans asking fellow fans, like myself, to sit (while on defense). I hope those fans take a minute to remember what home field advantage means. Our players want us to defend our home. Allow fans to do that. Please. Here was my final picture I had taken from the end of Sunday’s game. I can’t wait to be back to Hard Rock in October for the Bears game.Week AheadWe have a big game this Sunday. It’s Jets week fans. It’s going to be a tough game, but we can win it. If you are attending the MetLife Takeover please have a blast! If you have yet to attend, I encourage you to go one year. I went and it’s a big party with several hundred other DolFans. Cheer loudly and proudly as always MetLife peeps. I hope to see you all here next week with a 2-0 record! • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "Report: RB Kenneth Dixon expected to miss ‘some time’" 11.01.2018

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Buffalo Bills 47-3 Justin Tucker Jersey , but the win may have come at a cost. Running back Kenneth Dixon suffered a knee injury late in the fourth quarter, and he did not return to the game. Before exiting the game early, he rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown. This could be a concerning development for Dixon as this is his fourth knee injury since being drafted by Baltimore in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. His NFL career has not gone the way the Ravens had planned as he has missed a substantial amount of games due to injuries and suspensions. Dixon was placed on injured reserve before the start of the 2017 season, while also missing four games in 2016.According to the Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec, Dixon is expected to ‘miss some time,’ which will test Baltimore’s depth at the running back position. The Ravens only carried three running backs on the active roster, and they also have two tailbacks on the practice squad. If Dixon is out for Thursday night’s game, which appears to be the case, Baltimore would have an interesting decision to make: should they promote a running back or stick with only two?De’Lance Turner earned a practice squad spot after having two fantastic performances in the final two weeks of the preseason. After a slow start and lack of reps in the first three games, Turner exploded onto the scene in Week three. He finished with 75 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins Authentic Sam Koch Jersey , including a 65-yard score. One week later, Turner followed up with a 53-yard game and a 28-yard run. He is a different type of running back than Dixon, but he is a home run threat, which is what Baltimore needs. The other practice squad running back, Gus Edwards, had a polar opposite preseason in terms of Turner’s. Edwards was impressive during the first few games but fizzled out in the later weeks due to lack of reps and injuries. Edwards is a bigger, physical short-yardage running back that the Ravens could make an impact in the red zone. With Dixon’s timetable still uncertain, the Ravens could have their first significant roster decision to make.Ravens Rookie Report: Week 1 The Baltimore Ravens got off to a great start to 2018 on Sunday, steamrolling the Buffalo Bills 47-3. There were new faces all over the field for Baltimore, including the 2018 rookie class that collectively saw a decent amount of action Youth Nick Boyle Jersey , especially thanks to the lopsided score early on.So how did they perform? Let’s take a look:Top BillingTommy Gilligan-USA TODAY SportsBaltimore made four selections in the first three rounds of the draft in April, two of which saw significant snaps on Sunday. As recently as a couple of weeks ago, nobody probably would’ve guessed those two players to be Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews.Jackson relieved Joe Flacco after he had already put the game in hand, but Lamar was also mixed in as a weapon early on. Andrews saw his time partially due to Hayden Hurst’s injury leaving them somewhat thin at the position. Both players impressed in different ways.Andrews helped move the chains on his way to three catches for 39 yards on four targets and looked comfortable on the field, which was a bit of a concern throughout the preseason. The gadget plays with Jackson weren’t especially effective but did keep the defense on their heels. Beyond that he looked good after taking over for Flacco, tossing a long completion and finishing second on the team in rushing with 39 yards. The Defensive DuoTommy Gilligan-USA TODAY SportsKenny Young and Anthony Averett are two more players that made their debut on Sunday afternoon. Young was active, chipping in four stops and a sack, while Averett had two tackles of his own.In what was an impressive team performance for the defense, it was great to see some of the more unheralded young talent step up. This is especially true for this crop of rookies led by Young and Averett who have the potential to be starters at some point. The Wild CardPhoto by Patrick Smith/Getty ImagesRotational receiver was one of the more contested battles of the summer, and it ended up being decided partially by special teams value. Rather than keep a player like Breshad Perriman or have Jaleel Scott active this season James Hurst Jersey , Baltimore opted to go with the undrafted Grant thanks to his return ability. On Sunday we saw why, as he raced through Buffalo’s punt coverage unit on his way to a 51-yard return that set up the offense for a touchdown. Hopefully Grant can produce more explosive plays like that down the line, and avoid mistakes such as his muffed punt._________________________________________All in all, this was a solid debut effort for several Ravens rookies. We saw young talent step up in all three phases of the game, which will be necessary throughout the season for a team that fancies itself an AFC contender.A hallmark of a true heavyweight is a deep roster, and Baltimore sure seems to have one right now. That’ll certainly be tested in the coming weeks, but for now it was nice to see some of the rookies showcase their skills in Week 1.

    • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "Redskins Week 1 In Review: Defense Week 1 Film Review: How’d the Defense Look?" 10.25.2018

Each week after the coaches film is released on NFL Game Pass on Tuesday afternoons Youth Adrian Peterson Jersey , I will review the tape and report my findings. The Redskins defense was dominant on Sunday. The unit allowed only 2 first-downs in a first half shutout, spending most of the first 30 minutes with only 19 yards given up. Perhaps the most impressive stat, though? The Redskins held David Johnson, one of the NFL's most dynamic players to only 67 total yards. The addition of DaRon Payne and the return of Matt Ioannidis and Jonathan Allen obviously make a huge difference up front, as the Redskins only needed to blitz on four plays against the pass. It’s sometimes hard to decipher whether or not a team is run-blitzing, but by my count the Redskins only run-blitzed on one play. What does this mean? Well, it shows that the Redskins can effectively sit back in coverage and get enough pressure with their front-four while also being stout enough against the run without having to send reinforcements against the run.How did the Redskins accomplish this? Well, the answer is fairly simple; personnel that finally fit the system. Greg Manusky wants to be able to drop his DBs and linebackers into complex zones, and to do that he needs athletic linebackers and a front-four that can both stuff the run and apply pressure. Finally, with the addition of Da’Ron Payne, the emergence of Josh Harvey-Clemons, and the health of Zach Brown and Mason Foster, the Redskins have the pieces needed to be effective in this system. Mason Foster was matched up (in his zone) with Larry Fitzgerald on 11 occasions by my count, allowing only one catch for 7 yards. Any time a team can put a linebacker on a Hall-of-Fame receiver, things are looking good. On the back end, the Redskins employed mostly quarters and cover-3 looks, allowing their corners to take away one quarter of the field and leaving the safeties to cover the deep thirds depending on the play. Manusky also mixes in some ‘robber’ coverage, bringing a safety down in the box from a high position, usually pushing a linebacker’s responsibility to a flat. While a veteran QB like Bradford can usually pick apart a zone defense, pressure makes the looks harder to discern. While many fans are questioning the pressure the Redskins forced on Sunday, Manusky didn't need to send more than four if the Cardinals were only going to manage a meager 4.7 yards per pass play. Against the murderer’s row of quarterbacks the Redskins have coming up, expect Manusky to dial up some more exotic pressure.I wanted to focus on a few plays in this film review, starting with a stellar play (above) from Quinton Dunbar, who had an exceptional game overall. Dunbar drops into his zone, responsible for the quarter of the field to the bottom of the screen. He shows he’s studied this week, seeing the TE pulling the linebacker into the flat to clear the middle of a slant from the slot receiver. Dunbar breaks immediately on the route before the ball is even thrown and breaks the pass up-with his helmet. Dunbar commented after the game that even he was surprised how quickly he got there, wishing aloud with Deangelo Hall that he could’ve gotten his hands on the ball rather than the ball ‘hitting him in his face.’Another fantastic play from Dunbar here (above), as a clever route concept puts him in a tough spot and he still makes the play. Three receivers align in a tight split to the bottom of the screen, and Swearinger and Moreau move over to cover the underneath zones in front of those receivers, leaving Dunbar responsible for the deep third, and in this case, two receivers running vertical routes. Dunbar stays home between the two receivers and breaks quickly on Fitzgerald, making a tough play look easy. On this play (above), I wanted to highlight the contrast between Jonathan Allen and DaRon Payne. Allen shows his prowess with a combination of power and pass-rush moves, a relentless attack straight towards the QB. Payne, who is just scratching his pass-rushing potential, makes one move and attempts to use his power the rest of the way. Payne stayed in the game on possible run downs Youth Josh Doctson Jersey , so he won’t usually be in the game on obvious passing downs at this point in his career, but this type of play, and contrast between the two Alabama products, was evident throughout the game in passing situations. Lastly, I want to point out one of the only true negatives I saw in this game, and that was a lazy play from Josh Norman that could’ve really changed the game (above). Norman is responsible for the quarter of the field closest to the bottom of the screen. Seals-Jones enters his zone and makes a lazy fake to the outside, sitting down in the end zone. Norman oversteps to the outside and then puts little effort into recovering to cover Seals-Jones, who drops what would’ve been a sure touchdown with a better throw from Bradford. Norman is a good corner, but seems to get bored at times, and did not look fully engaged in this play, a play that could’ve certainly changed the game, as it would’ve resulted in just a 10-point point lead with under 4 minutes remaining. Some other notable observations for each defensive player:-Jonathan Allen is proving that he is one of the best interior rushers in the league. He is relentless and perfectly built for the position, recording two pressures and a QB hit (by my count) on a day where the QB was getting rid of the ball quickly.-DaRon Payne is already a great run-stuffer, holding up two defenders consistently against the run and pushing the pocket on passing downs. He might have been the missing piece to this D.-Matt Ioannidis didn’t have his best game and was washed against the run on multiple occasions, but he will likely find his way to a mostly pass-rush role this season.-Ziggy Hood looked more natural and explosive from his more natural position of defensive end. It must feel fantastic to finally be playing in the position he belongs; no one is happier than Ziggy Hood about the addition of DaRon Payne.-Tim Settle has grown-man strength as a rookie. He had his best series in the third quarter, pushing two defenders into Sam Bradford on first down and holding up two defenders at the line on second down against the run.-Mason Foster is a very instinctive player, and when he’s healthy, has the athleticism to match. He played well against slot receivers and diagnosed the run with patience. He’s also an underrated blitzer.-Zach Brown is overly-aggressive at times, but man is he fast. If he picks the right gap, he gets a TFL. However, he picked the wrong gap on two ten-plus yard runs. A bit more patience would help even out his game.-Josh Harvey-Clemons might be the most underrated player on this defense. He’s a savvy blitzer-waiting on delays and getting his hands up in passing lanes, as well as a mismatch killer against TEs and backs in the pass game.-Preston Smith didn’t look special on Sunday, but he held the edge well on the run and had one QB hit.-Ryan Kerrigan was much the same as his counterpart, solid against the run and had two QB hits, but nothing spectacular.-DJ Swearinger had a mostly great day in coverage, specifically underneath, but got beat deep badly by Larry Fitzgerald to start the second half. He’s clearly more comfortable as the down safety in coverage.-Montae Nicholson had a great game. My only worry about him has been in man coverage, but he excelled in the zone-heavy gameplan on Sunday.-Josh Norman was great in run support and made two fantastic tackles on underneath routes, but was beat badly near the end of the game on what should’ve been a TD.-Fabian Moreau is clearly a good communicator and made sure he was where he needed to be on Sunday, but he’s overall a work in progress; he had a hold and was beat twice for medium gains.-Quinton Dunbar demonstrated why the team showed zero reluctancy in letting Bashed Breeland go. He’s on the rise and didn’t have a single negative on my note sheet. 3 PBU, 1 INT=great game.Redskins Vs. Broncos - Studs and Duds All I can say is HOLY MISSED TACKLES BATMAN!On a night where starters were scheduled to see significant action, the Redskins looked more like a Pop Warner team after their first week of practice. Both starters and reserves looked absolutely horrible tackling. To top that off, the first team offense sputtered under veteran Alex Smith on the first two drives of the night, and found themselves playing from behind all game. The defense could not seem to get off the field all night, while allowing 29 points. Overall, it was a poor TEAM effort by the Redskins, who looked over-matched by a Broncos squad who is far from world-beater status. Below are my Studs and Duds of the game Youth Paul Richardson Jersey , followed by some notes. Studs:Adrian Peterson - I hope everyone can now finally understand what a good RB can do behind this talented offensive line. Peterson looked decisive, fast, powerful and explosive in his Redskins debut. I loved how he set up the defenders on the fourth and short in the second quarter before bursting to the outside to pick up 15. He had 11 carries for 56 yards (a 5.1 YPC average). Chase Roullier - The second year center really stood out among the offensive linemen last night. I thought he played with great power (always seeming to generate movement up front), excellent hand placement, and showed well climbing to the second level. I loved the way he finished some of his blocks and played through the whistle. Great job by the second year pro!DaRon Payne - Payne continues to be a beast for anyone who tries to block him. His numbers weren’t overwhelming, but his presence was felt. Tim Settle - The rookie defensive tackle continues to show well in games. Even when he’s initially blocked, he gets in hands up in the passing lanes to disrupt plays. He is showing a very good motor as well, and doesn’t give up on plays; even ones he has no business being in. Kevin Hogan - Hogan, despite poor pass protection, managed to go 7/9 for 88 yards and two touchdowns in reserve duty Friday night. He also showed the ability to make plays on the run when protection broke down. Phil Taylor - Phil Taylor made a few nice splash plays. It’s nice to see the big fellow back out on the field. He was a complete handful for the Broncos reserve linemen. Tress Way - This guy has one hell of a leg!Duds:Alex Smith - Alex was not sharp on his first two drives of the evening, despite the line giving him time in the pocket. He was surprisingly inaccurate when throwing out of the pocket, missing some open targets, and making some questionable throws on others. he did look better on the team’s third offensive drive, twice hitting Richardson for nice gains. Vernon Davis - The veteran tight end didn’t look good on the evening working with the first team. he dropped a would-be first down on the first drive when Smith vacated the pocket, rolled to his right, and hit the him right between the numbers on the sideline. He also needs to understand where the first down marker is, as he ran his route a bit short on fourth and three late in the first quarter resulting in a turnover on downs. Rob Kelley - 2.4 YPC on eight attempts. Only Alex Smith averaged less on his one zone-read attempt. Tyler Catalina - Catalina was just awful with the second unit, getting both over-powered and beaten with speed both to his inside and outside. John Kling -This guy is NOT an NFL offensive tackle! He’s going to get someone killed out there. Mason Foster/Zach Vigil - The linebacker duo looked bad on the evening when working with the starters. Both players were easily blocked at the second level and missed some key tackles. Foster, in particular, looked bad, both against the run and in coverage. It’s hard to believe Martrell Spaight played better than both starting guys. Quinton Dunbar - the young corner drew the start opposite Norman, and was not very sharp in coverage, allowing his receiver to make too many plays. Troy Apke - Apke was awful, and I mean AWFUL against Denver, missing numerous key open-field tackles (the one on the Sanders end-around that resulted in a touchdown was particularly bad)and being a step late in coverage. He was also called for a holding penalty on special teams. It’s going to be a rough film session for the rookie. Notes:WAY to many missed tackles as a team. We need to clean this up ASAP!Josh Norman was not what I’d call a dud, but he didn’t show extremely well against Denver, missing some tackles (common team theme here), and not locating the football on a thrown down the sidelines late in the first quarter. Ryan Anderson was on the field for quite a few defensive snaps, but just never seems to make a play or make much of a difference. Montae Nicholson was hit-or-miss - literally. He missed two open-field tackles, but did make a few other nice plays. Fabian Moreau showed great break on the ball on two occasions; once knocking away a would-be completion in the first quarter. He made a few nice open-field tackles as well.Beautiful coverage and play on the ball by Alexander on a deep attempt down the left sideline early in the third quarter. He also had some nice tackles in the game, but just like almost everyone else, missed some too. Shaun Dion Hamilton made a nice play on the tight end in coverage in the end zone. Possibly could have been called for pass interference, but IMO, it was a bang-bang play with a good no-call. he looks comfortable in coverage.Anthony Lanier had a nice game playing with the back-ups. he had a sack and some nice tackles up front.

The Dolphins are sticking with Ryan Tannehill another year. There’s a saying Youth Maxx Williams Jersey , “It’s never as good as it seems, nor as bad as it seems.” Is this the case with Ryan? Is he better than NFL fans know but a bit worse than Dolphins fans believe? How’s this situation panning out?2. Looking over the draft for Miami, it’s hard not to be jealous. Mike Gesicki was a tight end on the Ravens radar and Minkah Fitzpatrick, an Alabama player, is always a possibility for the Ravens with Ozzie Newsome at the helm. Along with the full Dolphins 2018 draft class, how are these two playing in particular?3. Miami’s roster is looking sharp with household names such as Josh Sitton Youth Maurice Canady Jersey , Robert Quinn, and Danny Amendola all joining the Dolphins this offseason. Is this team capable of clinching a post-season berth?4. Once the starters exit the field, who are Dolphins fans watching for on offense? Defense?5. Where is the weakness on this Dolphins team and are you worried it could withhold the team from a playoff game in 2018?Report: Ravens’ Maurice Canady suffered a ‘minor strain’ during Friday’s practice During Baltimore’s joint practice with the Colts, cornerback Maurice Canady left the field early due to a ‘muscle strain,’ per Jeff Zrebiec. The good news for Baltimore is that this injury does not appear to be serious.“I think [Maurice Canady] had some kind of strain of some sort. We will just have to see how that responds. I don’t know exactly what happened, but that is the only one. It is not a serious injury Cheap Joe Flacco Jersey , it is a muscle strain of some kind,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said, via the team’s official website.Injuries have plagued Canady’s short NFL career since being drafted in the sixth-round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He only appeared in four games during his rookie season before being placed on injured reserve because of a thigh injury. During training camp last year, Canady suffered a knee injury that forced him to be placed on injured reserve. However, he was one of two players that the Ravens designated to return, and he appeared in the final eight games. He eventually took over as the team’s primary slot cornerback Cheap C.J. Mosley Jersey , and he was inconsistent for much of the year. Pro Football Focus graded him as Baltimore’s fifth-best cornerback last year. Jaylen Hill’s grade of 69.0 was slightly higher, but Hill did play significantly less snaps — 320 to 16. Canady is expected to transition back to the outside as Tavon Young has returned, but his versatility is among one of his best attributes. “It’s a huge deal to me to display my versatility on a daily basis. It really projects the player that I envision myself to be. I’m very excited about that,” Canady said, via the team’s official website.Against the Los Angeles Rams in Week one of the preseason, Canady had an impressive interception. He used his length and athleticism to jump in front of the ball and secure the interception.Since being drafted Womens Justin Tucker Jersey , Canady’s biggest issue has been his ability to stay on the field. It appears as if he will return to the field sooner rather than later, which is good news for him as his role in Baltimore’s defense is far from secure.

The Miami Dolphins are preparing to face the New England Patriots later this afternoon in a Week 4 showdown that could have the Dolphins three-games ahead of New England in the standings by the end of the day. Of course White Bobby McCain Jersey , it does not seem like many people expect that to happen, with most of the talk centering on the Patriots, who are 1-2 on the year, righting themselves and getting back toward looking like the defending AFC Champions. As I did last week, I decided to take a look around the internet to see what the straight-up winners picks for today’s game would be. Are there any experts out there picking Miami to come away from this game with the upset win and a 4-0 record? Here is a run through of the expert picks for the Dolphins as they visit the New England Patriots. It was the longest game in NFL history. And despite everything that went wrong, the Dolphins were able to overcome the odds and defeat the Tennessee Titans 27-20 on Sunday. The Dolphins are now 1-0, and there are several reasons for the team’s improbable victory.Reshad Jones played out of his mind White Jakeem Grant Jersey , as did rookie defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick.Kenny Stills caught both of Ryan Tannehill’s touchdown passes and Jakeem Grant played well on the perimeter, in addition to his 102-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The offensive line played well and surprisingly enough, so did the defensive line.As you can see, there are plenty of notable players deserving of the Week 1 game ball.So let’s take a closer look at the five nominees.Reshad JonesJones is one of the best safeties in the NFL and looked the part in Miami’s victory over the Titans on Sunday. He was all over the field, combining for 7 total tackles and 2 interceptions. He was a menace in the run game, and dropped into the box several times to make big plays. In addition, Jones made several plays in coverage and made things difficult for the Titans all day long.Reshad Jones should be nominated for several weekly awards around the league for his play in Week 1.Kenny StillsIn 2016, Ryan Tannehill and Kenny Stills developed chemistry and it picked up exactly where they left off. With Parker out, Stills was called upon to be the team’s #1 wide receiver, and it showed.Stills caught 4 balls for 106 yards and 2 Touchdowns. But none bigger than his 75-yard touchdown from Tannehill in the 4th quarter. Stills finished the game averaging 26.5 yards per catch.Expect a lot more of this from the veteran wide receiver.Ryan TannehillFor not playing in 637 days, Ryan Tannehill looked very good on Sunday. It was clear he had a strong understanding of the offense in year three, and knew where to go with the football on nearly every play.He used his strong accurate arm to make several tough throws, but none bigger than the 75-yard strike to Stills late in the game.It wasn’t all well and good for Tannehill, who threw two interceptions vs Tennessee. The first http://www.authenticsmiamidolphins.com/cheap-ja_wuan-james-jersey , Mike Gesicki fell down on a fade route and an inaccurate throw from Tannehill made it easy for the Titans to make a play.Another, was a miscommunication on a deep ball to Jakeem Grant, that sailed way over the 5’6 speedster’s head.Tannehill finished the game 20/28 for 230 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. There were ups and downs, but enough good things to build upon heading into Week 2 vs the New York Jets.Minkah FitzpatrickThe rookie defensive back looked like one of the best players on the field on Sunday. His play in coverage is something the team has long yearned for and his sure tackling, might have saved the Dolphins the game.Minkah combined for six tackles on the day, but the stat line doesn’t do his play justice. He will be a versatile piece to the Dolphins’ defense for many years to come.We should all be thankful that he is a Miami Dolphin.Jakeem GrantDeVante Parker who?It is anyone’s guess as to what type of role “Mighty Mouse” would have had, if Parker were able to play on Sunday.Nonetheless, Grant made his impact felt. His 102-yard kickoff return is the second longest in Dolphins history and gave the team a necessary spark after the second intermission.Grant finished the game with 5 catches for 38 yards, but his play should warrant him more opportunities moving forward. He has the potential to be the Dolphins’ version of Tyreek Hill and that is something that fans should be excited for.So who do you think deserves the game ball for the Dolphins 27-20 victory over the Titans?Vote in the poll, and let us know your thoughts in the comments below. • The more things change http://www.panthersfootballauthentic.com/graham-gano-jersey-authentic , the more they stay the same. That’s the theme of too many seasons for the Panthers. They bounce back and forth from winning season to disappointment. They win games despite the best efforts of their coaches. They fire a steady, defensive-minded head coach, only to bring in a slightly younger, steady, and defensive-minded guy. The big change in 2018 was to fire their offensive coordinator and hire freshman Norv Turner, whose job was to take the offense to the next level while keeping it consistent. All of the coordinators changed this off season, for the record. The defense was so competent with new pieces and new coordinator Eric Washington as to almost be boring. Panthers’ fans can all but take for granted that they will have the privilege of watching a competent — and often stifling — defense. Special teams, meanwhile www.carolinapanthersteamonline.com , had some good returns and botched an extra point. In other words, you wouldn’t know there had been coaching changes if somebody hadn’t told you.For the offense, it wasn’t until the 5th play from scrimmage — a 1st and 20 on the opening drive — that the Panthers saw their first positive play of 2018. It went for three yards. Cam Newton then scrambled for 15 yards to set up 3rd and 2. He converted on a QB sneak. I can’t speak to “the next level,” but that is certainly consistent with the last several years of Panthers offense. If you walked away after those first six plays then you would believe that the 2018 Carolina Panthers were going to be a strong defense supporting a fly-by-the-seat-of-Cam’s-teeth offense. A new look offense that was suspiciously familiar. You also would have missed the real story: The Panthers are just a few injuries away from being scary.Newton, while the most potent player on the team, is no longer the entire story of the offense. Christian McCaffrey, his one fumble aside, had a strong day and made plays even when he didn’t have room to work. Devin Funchess didn’t break out as a number one receiver Carolina Panthers T-Shirt , but he did prove that he can be a consistent option in the intermediate passing game in Greg Olsen’s (hopefully brief) absence. Torrey Smith and Jarius Wright both showed up larger and in bigger moments than any depth receivers the Panthers have rostered in years. We’re not even talking about Alex Armah and C.J. Anderson showing that they can be contributors if needed. Remember that we’re often mired in arguments over practice squad wide receivers at this point in the season. The Panthers’ offense has options and weapons and hope for the first time in years. The only thing they are missing is time. The offensive line is hurt. Ryan Kalil apparently had a fever. We hope it doesn’t cause him to sleep poorly on his neck. Daryl Williams injured his right knee again. Amini Silatolu looked like he need ‘OnStar for pass rushers’ in his helmet again. Some of these issues will be resolved with the attention of good doctors and the application of rest over the coming weeks. Some will simply fester in the blind spot of veteran-enamored coaches. This is the way things are. That’s a whole lot of question marks and bad portents for a team that won —for a team whose offensive line played relatively well for most of the game. First year starters Taylor Moton and Greg van Roten had a shaky beginning, but they settled down and proved to be the least of Turner and Newton’s worries. That is huge for the Panthers’ hopes. The offense had a few mistakes throughout the game, but that was only to be expected. Turner doesn’t know these guys but so well and they only know him just as far. There is a balance that they are trying to strike. It will take time to find that. Unlike years past, now you can actually see their goals and their misfires on the field. There is a palpable sense of intention and progress that, when not sidelined by injury, could mean the world for Newton and for the Panthers. That brings us back to time. The difference between the time it takes to run a play and the time it takes for a defensive end to blow a play up is almost imperceptible. Fortunately, it is obvious what needs to change to produce the time that Newton and Turner need to get their offense in rhythm. The right tackle position is a fight between the ghost of Daryl Williams’ knee, Amini Silatolu Carolina Panthers Hats , and recent trade acquisition Corey Robinson. It is also the biggest question mark casting doubt on the Panthers’ offense being able to operate on the level of their defense. It is where they are currently losing time. The Panthers have long been a team that relied on talent on both sides of the ball to overcome coaching. 2018 looks to field one of their most talented rosters in years. Answer that question at right tackle, give Newton just a little more time, and the Panthers could become one of the safer bets in the NFC.Panthers 2018 season opener countdown: 6 days to go We are 6 days away from the beginning of the Carolina Panthers 2018 season. That means today we take a closer look at quarterback Taylor Heinicke.Taylor Heinicke, QuarterbackBioHeight: 6’1”Weight: 210 lbsAge: 25College: Old DominionNFL Experience: 3 yearsTaylor Heinicke was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Vikings in 2015 and bounced around a few practice squads before landing in Carolina in April 2018. He has thrown one career pass—a completion for 10 yards as a member of the Texans. Here’s a summary of Heinicke’s college career, from the Panthers’ website:Heinicke came into training camp this year to compete with Garrett Gilbert for the No. 2 quarterback job after the Panthers decided to part ways with veteran signal caller Derek Anderson. When camp started Gilbert was seen by many as the odds-on favorite to win the job, but Heinicke came in and played well in the preseason—well enough to take the coveted No. 2 quarterback spot on the Panthers roster. Hopefully the only time we see him in action this season is when the Panthers are resting their starters late in a blowout victory, otherwise the Panthers could be in deep trouble if Heinicke has to see significant playing time. Let’s hope we avoid that situation.

    • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "Jimmy Smith’s suspension could open the door for the Ravens’ bubble players" 10.22.2018

Minutes before the Ravens’ third preseason game Joe Flacco Jersey , the Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec reported that cornerback Jimmy Smith is facing a multi-game suspension. This was significant news for Baltimore as Smith is their top cornerback, but it appears they have the depth to handle his absence for multiple weeks. When Smith missed the final four games of the 2017 season, the Ravens’ secondary did not struggle to the level that they did in previous years without him. The loss of Smith provided an opportunity for Marlon Humphrey to receive more snaps, and he took full advantage of that opportunity. Humphrey was impressive in his first NFL start against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14. He only allowed six completions for 37 yards on 12 targets, including two receptions for seven yards to Antonio Brown on five targets, per Pro Football Focus. With Humphrey likely becoming the team’s top cornerback in this scenario, Brandon Carr would be the No. 2 cornerback. He was inconsistent for much of the 2017 season, but he is an ironman. Carr has started every game in his 10-year NFL career. The return of Tavon Young as the team’s primary slot cornerback paired with the versatility and emergence of Maurice Canady and Anthony Averett would give Baltimore a talented secondary despite Smith’s absence. The Ravens did bring in cornerback Bashaud Breeland, which could show that they may not be content with the cornerback position without Smith. However, given the strong play of Anthony Averett in the preseason, their perception of their depth at this position could change. Since suspended players do not count towards the 53-man roster, the Ravens would seemingly have an extra roster spot. With players like Kamalei Correa, Robert Griffin III Youth John Brown Jersey , Breshad Perriman, Tim White, Janarion Grant, Darren Waller, Maxx Williams, Bronson Kaufusi, and Albert McClellan all on the roster bubble, the Ravens could keep an additional player at a different position because of this suspension.7th receiverThe Ravens have an interesting dilemma at the wide receiver position. Outside of the top four receivers, no player has emerged in the competition. Jordan Lasley, Jaleel Scott, Breshad Perriman, Gus Edwards, Tim White Youth Matt Skura Jersey , Zach Sieler, and Janarion Grant are all fighting for two, or maybe three, spots. With Scott and Lasley likely safe, the seventh receiver spot could be awarded to the winner of the returning competition. They could keep Perriman, who has posted the best numbers out of all of the bubble wide receivers this preseason and let Chris Moore handle the returning duties. Third quarterbackThe Ravens have not kept a third quarterback on their roster since 2009, but Griffin III could change that. He has been solid throughout the preseason, and if Baltimore does not feel comfortable with Lamar Jackson being the only backup, he will be on the team. Fourth tight endMark Andrews, Nick Boyle, and Hayden Hurst are all destined for the 53-man roster. After those three, the Ravens could keep a fourth tight end, which they have done in previous seasons Youth Michael Crabtree Jersey , but it was unclear if they would be afforded that luxury this year. Maxx Williams has had a quiet preseason thus far, but he has flashed potential in years prior and could be worth keeping. Darren Waller has a high ceiling given his rare height, speed and athleticism, but his off-the-field issues have plagued him. He could add a different element to Baltimore’s passing game.Sign up for Baltimore Beatdown FanPulse!Versatile linebackerIt would be a surprise if Kamalei Correa and Albert McClellan both missed the 53-man roster. With this new roster spot, the Ravens could keep both of them. They each provide value on special teams and versatility as they can play outside or inside linebacker. Fourth running back Kenneth Dixon had an impressive preseason performance against the Colts, but his track record shows that he is far from reliable at this point. Given his injury history, the Ravens may opt to keep a fourth running back for added insurance. Baltimore could sign a free agent running back or keep Gus Edwards, who has had a solid preseason. Extra defensive line helpThe Ravens have plenty of depth on the defensive line, and the final spot is likely between Zach Sieler and Bronson Kaufusi. Baltimore could opt to keep both players for extra depth as they have done this in previous seasons. Kaufusi also showcased his versatility as he can play outside linebacker as well. He has had a strong preseason, while Sieler has also flashed at times as well.Ravens training camp attendance report 7/28: OL Alex Lewis returns to practice The Baltimore Ravens held their last practice of the week on Saturday morning, and a total of 14 players sat out. There were no changes to the PUP list, which means that Quincy Adeboyejo, Jaylen Hill Womens Marlon Humphrey Jersey , Marshal Yanda and Bam Bradley all missed practice.Terrell Suggs, Tony Jefferson, Anthony Levine Sr. and Maurice Canady all likely are receiving rest days on Saturday. Canady did appear to suffer a minor injury during Friday’s practice, but he returned to the drill a couple of plays later.Rookie tight end Mark Andrews continues to miss practice as he has now missed his fifth straight practice. This could be a concerning development for Baltimore as his status for the Hall of Fame game is still up in the air. Running back Kenneth Dixon missed his second consecutive practice after tweaking his hamstring during Thursday’s session. It has not been labeled as “serious,” but his timetable to return is still unknown. After leaving Friday’s practice early with an undisclosed injury, Tyus Bowser was not present on Saturday. The severity of his injury has yet to be revealed, but again, it is not expected to be a significant injury.Offensive linemen Randin Crecelius also left Friday’s practice early, and he did not return to the field on Saturday. Crecelius is an UDFA out of Portland State, who was fighting for a roster spot. While defensive back Bennett Jackson and offensive linemen Greg Senat continue to miss practice.

    • douhua2233 has written a new blog article "Assessing the Panthers individual season prop bets" 10.22.2018

Betonline.ag has the following prop bets for Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey’s season performance.I like the over on the 3 Authentic Greg Olsen Jersey ,450 yards the best of these three, then the over on the touchdown passes. I think Norv Turner will improve the Panthers passing numbers and we know Newton can throw for 4,000 yards if he has the receivers and the time to throw. He’s exceeded that number in four of his seven seasons and I think he will again in 2018. I’m having similar thinking on the passing touchdowns, where he has exceeded 23 in only three seasons. What I’m not sure about is that he may still throw a number of interceptions. Still 16.5 seems like a lot, which is one less than the most he has thrown in the past. So in that regard I have to think he will be under the 16.5. So in summary if you truly think Newton will take a step up in his performance then you can take that to bank with these prop bets. Next up is running back Christian McCaffrey. I find these bets curious as they do seem to account for an increase in touches running the ball but they only expect him to match his touchdown production. McCaffrey only rushed for 425 yards last season so the bet expects an increase there. Yet they don’t see any more than seven or eight touchdowns combined. With C.J. Anderson on board I have a hard time saying for sure McCaffrey will exceed 625 yards. I’d love to think so but we are talking cold hard cash here. I’m not one to throw money at wishful thinking. So I think the over on touchdowns is more likely of happening of the two but honestly until I see how Turner uses Anderson I’m going to take a wait and see approach here.Panthers vs Cowboys could come down to the run The football season is (finally) upon us. On Sunday Womens Jarius Wright Jersey , the Panthers kick things off with a home game versus the Cowboys. Both teams on paper match up fairly. Like the Panthers, the Cowboys are battling their own set of injuries on the offensive line. Both teams sport a quarterback able to control the game and both have a defense that’s talented. But the one position that could control tempo of the game for either team is running back. Ezekiel Elliott battled the drama of a looming six-game suspension last season for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Elliott faced his suspension the latter half of the season but not without making some noise first. In a matter of 10 games, Elliott managed to rush for 983 yards. He’s fast, he has power, he has agility Womens Dontari Poe Jersey , and he’s one of the best in the NFL. There’s also no doubt about it, Elliott will be ready to play on Sunday and he’ll be running harder than ever. The Cowboys have an up and coming quarterback in Dak Prescott. However, Prescott doesn’t have the same talent at wide receiver he once had with the release of Dez Bryant in the offseason. Dallas has a young receiver in Michael Gallup and their other option is Allen Hurns — a former Jaguars standout. If things go faulty, Cowboys will have to rely heavily on Elliott. Thankfully for the Panthers, they have one of the best defenders in the league in Luke Kuechly. Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said in the offseason that he’d like to see Christian McCaffrey get 25-30 touches per game. It’s also clear that first year offensive coordinator Norv Turner anticipates a running back who can tear up a defense on every down. Christian McCaffrey can run routes and run the ball out of the backfield. He is versatile in terms of style. Cam Newton can throw and he can run. Unfortunately for Newton Authentic Ian Thomas Jersey , he’s now backed up by a patchwork version of an offensive line. DeMarcus Lawrence is a beast of a defensive end and is Dallas’ best defensive player. Last season, Lawrence had a career high 14.5 sacks and is looking for another stellar season. Newton will be pressured and he could be stopped if Taylor Moton doesn’t play his part. In turn, CMC could be the game changer if things don’t go well in the air. With pressure in the air for both teams, there will be plenty of running on the field. Whoever can utilize their run game better will likely take the win.
